A really hip, fun modern take on tacos!Our favorite part of our meal was the mango margarita, which honestly might have been the best margarita I’ve ever had before!Also really enjoyed the yummy appetizers including street corn, and the Spanish rice.Tacos were good but more standard in my opinion. Regardless definitely worth checking this place out!
we got few tacos chips and guac. did a carryout and found spot to sit it was interesting I think I would try again
The food here is delicious! If I could change anything, it would only be the size of the establishment. My husband and I sat at the bar and were being brushed and touched the entire time as servers and people going to the bathroom walked past us. But the bartender and waiters were warm and friendly and the food and atmosphere were great! Definitely recommend this place
Honestly some of the best Taco's we have ever had! This restaurant is small but has a really chill vibe and offers outdoor seating, waiter was super nice and told us the specials. We luckily made it on Taco Tuesday, our Tacos on Special were $2 each…well worth the price. I would've paid $5 per Taco they were so good. Very fresh ingredients and the flavors of spicy, sweet, tangy all mixed perfectly on the pallet! 5 Stars all the way
4 starts cause the churros and flavor combinations of the tacos were great but the tortillas need to be cooked properly. They tasted like the cold store bought corn tortillas you get at the store.I also didn't like how my server was just wearing a long t-shirt. It felt like yall just hired a random college kid right before I got there.
Mama Lu's is a super-cute, narrow restaurant you could easily pass by. Don't - the tacos are worth it! It IS a small, pretty crowded space and the noise level can be high with all the conversations and music - but it is fun for a quick lunch. We ordered drinks and chips & salsa to start. One drink order was incorrect, and a nearby table received the one we ordered instead. They sorted it out. The servers were very busy and missed a few things, but were pleasant. We ordered the fish, shrimp, and pork tacos - all unique and full of flavor!
Limited seating, but unique and flavorful tacos. Our favorites were the pollo and lechon asado tacos. The guacamole was excellent too. Try to go mid day when it is less busy or make a reservation.
I would grab takeout the dining room is small but there are plenty of picnic spots close by. The food is modern and amazing. Full of flavors and legitimate food no additives and everything taste fresh not frozen and farm fresh. Refreshing take on Mexican fare. Reminds me of modern Mexican chefs. Will be back for sure if in the area. Highly recommend ? they do have vegitarian options.
Tried the taco kit and it was good! You get 2 choices of meat and tortillas along with some hot sauce and tortilla chips along with toppings. 60 bucks. The inside is pretty cramped as far as seating goes so if you're picking up you're almost in the way in the entryway, I definitely was. Parking is always fun downtown too. Still worth a try!
Excellent fresh made street style tacos!! 5-6 types of tacos, sides are wonderful, drinks highly recommended!!!! Service wonderful.
