Had good choices for food. We got fish Sandwiches. Fries were extra. I was expecting something special w the fries since they cost extra but they were boring old fries. My whitefish was thin and I was hungry the next day. Beer was good.
We met friends here on a rainy midweek night. The beer was great, but the food was about as unimpressive as it could be. The men all mentioned that the servings were “ small” , although I would say they were “comfortable”. Some pubs have super food, this was tired and just going through the motions. Go if all you want is beer and fries, but look elsewhere if you want food. There are better options in Traverse City.
We are having the best time here!First time in Traverse City and we are so glad we came here. The bartender Cathy is the woman to see, hilarious and knows everything about the beers, food, and locale. The reuban and beef brisket sandwiches are a must!!! Every meat is smoked in house too. We will be coming back here again on this trip and the next time we come to MI
I ordered the beer flight and wow, that was some good beer! Usually there are one or two I don't like and that was not the case. Solid beers for sure! My wife really enjoyed her red blend wine as well. The wings are smoked and cooked perfectly with a decent sauce. The Caesar salad was decent. Place is a bit dingy and could use a facelift but you go to a brewery for beer and they nailed that!
This is a great location right on front Street in Traverse City. After a day of shopping, a good place to stop for food and drink. The burger was delicious and the beer was big. But it was also expensive, $30 for one person before the tip.
A delightful and welcoming time was our experience. Cathy the bartender was fun and gave us excellent guidance on their craft beers. The stuffed mushroom caps were delicious, too.
Good service, food and beer selection.
food was great, beer was great, people were friendly.
Went to this place for special occasion with my family (2kids).The restaurant was kind to accommodate us and gave cozy place. When I looked the menu, I loved the beer choices, I started with a peninsula pale ale and my wife with the lager... We loved it. The lager was light and refreshing while peninsula pale ale was smooth n tasty. My Second beer was East Bay IPA.... Right at first sip I fell in love with this beer. Alas, they don't sell six pack of their classic beers. But this makes me come to this place to have a nice beer and enjoy the snacks.Their house made tortilla chips and salsa is very good along with onion rings.
Nice atmosphere and good food. My son had a burger and I had perch ($20 plate). A bit pricey but Perch was good and seemed fresh. Tried a cider but tasted a bit flat so they didn't charge. Like most places in town, under-staffed but they did fine. Large TV screens for sports and clean restrooms.
