First time eating here in over 12 years. Was highly dissatisfied. It was 8pm on a Friday night. There were 5 cars ahead of us in the drive thru. I am not over exaggerating when I say we waited 45 minutes in line!During our wait we watched 2 employees go by the dumpster to smoke. I have worked in customer service for my entire adult life and I am a smoker. When you are busy, now is not the time to go smoke!When we finally got to the window and received our food, go figure the chicken was warm at best, the Mac and cheese was cold, and we were missing some of our order.I understand places are short staffed due to people not wanting to work. It's like that everywhere. But when you're going to take a smoke break in the middle of a rush, that's when it's no longer acceptable for waiting as long as we did. Besides the drive thru being set up the way it is to keep you trapped and committed to ordering I would have left the line 20 minutes into the wait had I had the chance.
very disrespectful, ordered 64.00 in food, a few items were missing ( checked items before leaving parking lot) walked inside to notify staff, immediately cashier states " he claims he is missing this item this item this item", another staff says " yea I'm making it right now" and then continues to say how I am attempting to get free food ( knowing items missing were still being made, as another staff acknowledged and confirmed) once these items were ready, slammed them on the counter and said " here ya go I guess ya get free food" very rude! never would have thought someone in customer service would speak to a customer this way
The food is okay the reason i gave 4 stars is the nice employees and the cool atmosphere.

We were craving fried chicken for a Saturday Michigan game. Decided to go get KFC takeout. When we got there, the drive through line was very long. When we got to the window there was 5 people trying to run the entire store. Everyone was running, literally running. The person at the window said they have been very busy and apologized up and down for the wait. Then came back and said she did not have one of the sides we wanted and offered anything to replace it. Through this entire very stressful time she remained calm and smiling as much as she could. I noticed they were double checking orders to ensure the customers had everything they ordered. The whole time they were running. Everyone seemed focused on doing the best they can. I would love to have those people at any of my restaurants! Kudos to them!
Tried KFC for lunch for the 1st time in maybe a decade... Did the order online and went in to pick up. Couldn't find my name on the bag for the longest time and no one offered to help. Finally got it and went to my car. They forgot an item that was listed. Didn't bother going back in. Food was as I remember it but the restaurant part of the experience was sad and weird. Nothing made me feel like returning in the next decade.
Gotta live KFC! We don't get it much as it has become very pricey. But Excellent chicken.
Limited Hours at the Downtown location.Love me some KFC.
