We came in on a Tuesday morning during Cherry Festival. It was busy, but there was plenty of staff and we took a table. We ordered food and I ordered coffee. When she brought the cup I asked for cream and sugar, she forgot so I asked another waiter, who also got side tracked. I had to go to the counter to ask again, and finally had 2 waitresses bring it. I was not offered a refill and 40 minutes after ordering and no food in the window, we got up and left. Not a positive experience for people who haven't been to indoor dining since 2020.
While the place is kind of small it cranks out lots of food and is a busy stop. We were very pleased with the service and food. Plus, the place is very helpful to those in the community that need meals, handing out good from coolers that is free of charge. We need more places like this all over the world. The fire burger was amazing along with the fries and hot wings. Definitely one of my favorites in TC.
I feel bad because I can't remember the name of our waitress, but she was the blonde with cool glasses! I was so enamored by the quality of our experience from the service to the taste and presentation. Most definitely the best breakfast spot we visited during our 4 day trip! They also offer lunch options. I also loved that they help feed the less fortunate! Kudos J&S Hamburg South! Continue to be the blessing and you will always be blessed!
We both ordered the cheeseburger omelet, not impressed, the amount of food was good for the price, never had an omelet where the ground beef & bacon were on on side & the cheese & hash browns were on the other, makes for a dry omelet on one end, he ordered raisin bread & I got an English muffin, both hard as a rock. Waitress was nice but never checked on us after giving us our food & they weren't busy or short staffed.
Amazing vibe and place. I got the cinnamon Roll French Toast which was great. I also got the stuffed biscuits and gravy. I love biscuits and gravy so I didn't know you could stuff it.The only downside it the menu says the biscuits are fresh so I asked her to make sure since I've been looking for fresh biscuits and she said no. Not a huge issue and I won't take a star off since the biscuits are pretty good.The reason I am looking for fresh biscuits is because I love them the most for breakfast food and I've been craving a simple sausage and jelly biscuit sandwich so I did that with their biscuits and sausage. It's pretty good but not as good as a McDonald's one haha but again I won't take a star off for that since this isn't why I came here.Vibes are great, server is great and they always support a good cause. Check them out!!!

Great food, great service, kid-friendly. We don't live in the area, but we'll definitely go back when we visit.
