Third time was not the charm. Every single time this place blows. Took over an hour for our food and there were only 5 other people in the restaurant. "Service" slow & a little annoyed that we were there. Food - way below average and expensive. Fries are garbage.
This is the perfect mom and dad place you could go too. Everything was perfect. The setting is like a family. Even the customers were very kind. I miss this kind of setting. This place is one I will remember when we go home. If you are in traverse city this will be a great place to stop by. They also have a program to give back to the community. They have areas where you can go too and have a meal.
Friendly waitstaff, good food and they let my dogs sit with me in the outdoor patio and even brought him water.I didn't give 5 stars because nobody's perfect. Also I would've appreciated not being told to turn my music down which I was using the cover up the other patrons conversation comparing their gross health issues.
A hidden gem! Classic diner that serves a great breakfast. Hard working staff that serves with a smile. If you’re looking for hipster experience…..this isn’t it.Don’t be surprised, there is a wait and it was worth it.
Called ahead to ask a few questions to help us make a decision on where to go. The person who answered the phone sounded snippy, and exasperated, so I was a little apprehensive in going, but they were the only place open that had what we were looking for. (Lunch and breakfast options available all day, one of us wanted breakfast, but one of us absolutely wanted lunch options and it was still breakfast time everywhere else, being 9am) when we got there it was confusing getting to the place (construction on their road) but that is none of their fault. The food and service though was fantastic and I'm really glad we still took a chance on them. Definitely will be back if we're back in the area again. Just probably will not call ahead ever again (phone anxiety on my part made the call ahead especially traumatizing lol)
This is a hidden spot in downtown Traverse City! Customer service and food are great. Always friendly staff and warm coffee.
I’ve been going to this local restaurant in TC as long as I can remember with my mom, they have the best burgers! Love this restaurant so much.
This used to be one of our favorite cheap place to eat after a day of wine tasting. They’ve raised their prices and it’s not the great value that it used to be. Two burger and fries were more expensive (almost double) than our dinner at North Peak the night before. The food was good as always but I think we’ll be looking for a better option for a greasy spoon the next time we’re in TC.
Great diner, perfect for breakfast. Food was cooked fast and wait staff were super friendly.
The food was really good. The water was a bit off. Tasted like bleach and the older lady was kind of rude. The servers were fighting with each other. It was a very busy day but that's no excuse. We also waited more than 45 mins for our food. Overall not the greatest experience.
