Used to be a decent place to get chinese. Absolutely disappointed in the new way they run things. When multiple people order combo meals. Sesame chicken and honey chicken look virtually identical. They should be clearly marked. We couldn't dusting them. When i called to let them know the "manager" was rude, condescending and stated. "What you want me to do. Change the menu?" And cursed using the F word several times. We still have NO clue which one was the supposed honey chicken. And this restaurant has now lost a life long customer. Pretty sad. Absolutely disappointed.
We order from here all the time since it's truly the best Chinese food and sushi around! The food is always hot and fresh, and everything on the menu tastes greatIt's always bagged up all neat and it's made super quick. I 100% recommend this place!
Chicken was unchewable in all of the meals. Like a beef Jerky that never can be chewed fully. Like chewing dental floss would be a great way to describe it. I got szeshan. Tasted like watered down ketchup and a slight hint of BBQ like open pit. Nasty. Couldn't eat anything but the egg rolls. Prob frozen anyways... the only thing thatvwas decent was almond chicken. You could do 100000 times better at home with a 10 year old and Google. Sorry but if your closed then shut down until you get a good cook. Staying open for the money is unvirtuous.
Updating my review. 4 years ago the food here was terrible when I ordered. The last few months I have tried it again and has became one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Traverse City. The food is fantastic and also super hot even on door dash delivery. Keep up the good work
The dumplings were awesome and the sushi was amazing(still can't get over how good it was). Definitely will be going back to this place soon.
Ordered pepper steak and generals chicken. The pepper steak was almost all rawish green pepper and onions. The generals chicken was way over fried and every piece was tough. Will not be back.
Prettt bummed. Some of food was burned and all food was very dry. Peanut chicken was straight up peanut butter melted over fried chicken. Inedible.
Great place to frequent. They have prices that are incredibly reasonable while offering a pretty wide selection of food (menu could be a bit excessive as matter of fact). They have sushi which isn't out if this world but it's definitely good and my favorite part, reasonably priced. Their best quality though is the buffet, but Asian buffet is better. Still good though.
I need as a slave multiple times, and the food is always subpar. Not really enough to leave a review one way or another. However tonight, when picking up food, I was waiting patiently, when one of the employees comes out from the kitchen with her hand down her pants scratching. Needless to say, I will never be eating here again, and I would advise that you didn’t either. So much for sanitary.
Hunan is absolutely the best Chinese joint in Traverse City Michigan!!! Go support our Chinese American brothers and sisters!!!! The General Tso’s chicken tho!!! The spring rolls are ridiculous!!! Go support the takeout ? can’t wait until the inside opens up for the buffet!!!!!
