We had been having a bad experience with Traverse City and it's eateries until we went to Hexenbelle for breakfast. Everything was delicious and we tried many things! All the food is vegetarian and absolutely scrumptious. The coffee is made to perfection! I had the Damascus gate and it was wonderful. The pictures on the site are true to what's prepared. The staff were friendly, but not overbearing. Helpful in making selections. I asked if they had fava beans in some of their offers and they were helpful in letting me know what to avoid. We were very pleased with everything and will definitely come back.
We “discovered” Hexenbelle recently and love the sacred offerings. Love the energy and ambience. Enthusiastic team and positive energy abound. You won’t miss the meat and might just discover a whole new world of culinarily heaven. Great music and space to be alone or with friends. Thank you!
Very talented chef! All the food quality is far above the pricepoint. Don’t hesitate to order their “yogurt parfait”. It is not near as ordinary as it sounds. The pitas impress from the first bite. The best part? You can chase all those flavors with a precisely pulled espresso or cortado. (Also worth mentioning that the kitchen is spotless and ALL employees were masked.)

Not my kind of place to be honest. And when I saw it was vegetarian, I was bummed. However - the food was amazing. I'll probably have to arrange some takeout to try the other dishes.
It was an yummy visit. We tried shakshuka, breakfast pita and other and all came great. Well-balanced taste and spiciness.

I greatly appreciate the variety in coffee drinks that rely on nuanced flavors rather than over-sweet, syrupy concoctions. The same is true of the food. Quant coffee shop with nice patio seating. Interesting breakfast options that you don’t see other places! We only had time for delicious coffee + savory biscuit but will be back to try some other dishes.
They’re black coffee was divine!! Lattes and cappuccinos looked amazing! Have some seating inside and a decent size patio. Looking forward to the next visit!
