We ordered 8 pies from here for our wedding and we are so happy we did! The website inquiry was responded to quickly, all we had to do was submit the order a week or so ahead of time, paid prior to pick up, and the pies were waiting for us when we arrived to get them. Most importantly, they were deeeeeelicious! Good ol' Strawberry rhubarb and cherry pies do not disappoint. Bonus: they precut the pies at my request- game changer. I'm so glad I found this place. Check it out!!
This is regarding an online order. Ordered a pie for father's day with overnight shipping. Never received tracking number. Called two days after the package had been scheduled to ship, phone was answered 2 out 6 times I called throughout the day. Finally got through, was told order had shipped on scheduled date, and is displaying delivery for today (2 days later), I asked to receive tracking number by email and promised that would receive. Never received tracking, so had to call again, when finally got through was given tracking information over the phone to find out that delivery was delayed (fault of FedEx) yet at the same time see that FedEx 2 day shipping had been selected, not overnight, and instructed for only M-F delivery. So now delivery is delayed to Monday, after father's day, and pie will not be in edible condition. Was refunded. Now scrambling for a father's day gift friday night before Father's day. Disappointing. Do not recommend
Similar vibe to Panera but way better. The pot pie is awesome. Many homemade fruit pies to choose from.
A number of people told us that this was the place for the best cherry pie so this is where we went, not a big cherry fan but loved loved this pie, had it warmed up with a dap of vanilla ice cream and wanted more.
Excellence in the shape of a pastry that is as delicous as it gets around the city. If you are looking for anything pie, THIS IS THE PLACE. Excellent food, decent service, and a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. If you are here in the city for pleasure or buisness, I would strongly suggest this wonderful gem. Take a break, eat an amazing slice of extravagence that is The Grand Traverse Pie Company. ?❤?
Decided when in Traverse City, we must have cherry pie. Visited this cute little pie company and found the choices were hard to make… So. Many. Pies. Had the traditional cherry, which was delicious… tart and sweet… great a la mode! ENJOY!
If I were to go out for lunch every day, it would be here. The chicken salad sandwich and chicken cherry salad combo still has me salivating. Top that off with pie a la mode...day made! Visited here two days in a row. I had the potpie the second day and it was good, but it was the sandwich and salad for me. The employees were nice and the atmosphere is so cozy and cute. A must for anyone visiting TC.
Love this company! My dad and I meet here for breakfast every week. We appreciate the warm, comfortable dining room. Everything they make is wonderful, but we especially prefer the scramble wraps. Don’t miss the delicious muffins and coffee! The staff is incredible, particularly Kathleen, Molly and Mary (queen of the grill)!
If you live in Traverse City or are just visiting, this is a stop you need to put on your list for lunch. Absolutely fantastic food.
The owner of our company bought way over 170 pies for Christmas presents I chose the Cherry. I was very excited to taste one of the pies as I have never had one from the pie company before. I took the home that evening and went to cut it and it was so tough you could barely cut it with a knife. To be blunt I think you could have laid a foundation with the pie. I thought I don't want to waste the whole thing so I dug out the filling thinking we could use it as ice cream topping but the cherries were sour like no sugar had ever been added. Maybe I just got a fluke in my pie and just got a bad one but for $20 a piece they should taste amazing.
