Came here with my family and really enjoyed the hibachi experience. I will say the hibachi is a bit expensive but you do get a ton of food so you will have plenty of leftovers! I was able to split the shrimp hibachi with my sister. I will say however, sesame chicken is different than what I have had other Chinese restaurants but still pretty good. The service was good and fast.
Entree comes with a basic salad drowning in salad dressing, and a soup, don’t know what it was but not too bad and rice. I ordered the veggie tempura, there were two asparagus spears, 2 bites of broccoli, 2 mushy zucchini slices and lots and lots of sweet potatoes. Sweet potato tempura, not a good thing. My husband had the sweet and sour chicken. It was good and a huge portion. That was it, a bowl of chicken. Left feeling very disappointed. We probably should have had the sushi. But, we won’t be back.
Where to begin! Hibachi on steroids! The hibachi grill masters are very...VERY animated. The sake was awesome, 3x offered. Very accommodating. Very quick. Very good at refill times and idk...it was just a great time. A+. Awesome portion sizes. I.e, my son got sesame chicken and when they brought out a gigantic bowl (some of the best sesame chicken he's ever had) he about peed his pants ?. I've been to 4 different hibachi grills and this one easily wins. Awesome memories! A+Complimentary soup and salad too
We have been here numerous times and they are always friendly and polite. The portion size fluctuates pending who is cooking it and how they divide it up. So, if you want extra sides keep that in mind. This is well worth the money and the place is usually very busy. Other than that, I would still give this a 5 star and continue to go back time and time again.
The best Asian food in Traverse City. Never had a bad meal. The food is fresh and delicious.
We had a party of 9 folks with 2 separate orders. I did make a reservation and staff was able to accommodate us, on the hibachi side. We ordered sushi and had a takeout order. The chef was VERY fun and entertaining. Food as always was delicious!!

Ever since we moved to TC from Chicago we have been looking for great sushi only to be disappointed. Red Ginger was our go-to for decent sushi. After a recent post on here I noticed a few people mentioned Fuji. This place is by the Home Depot. Never heard of it. We went for date night last night to check it out. Walking in it felt like a Chicago mom & pop sushi place. It’s not upscale like Red Ginger. It very casual and eccentric decor (not an insult, actually I’m fond of it). We ordered way too much since we wanted to try many things. From the first bite I was blown away! Everything we order was amazing! Order the “Hidden Dragon” I seriously think it’s the best roll I have ever had anywhere. We asked ourselves why hasn’t anyone we know told us about this place?!?? Well I wanted to tell y’all. Check it out if you like sushi ?

I was very impressed with the experience. I had the Kani salad ,which was filling , then the angel kiss roll and the Shanghai la roll I thought I could eat it all but I just couldn’t finishing up with three of each left. Everyone was very nice and my server unforgettable!!!!! I hope to get back again soon! Thank you for the awesome meal!
