While camping in Traverse City my father in law just said , go to Folgarelli’s and order the number 3 , I knew for sure that I wouldn’t be disappointed coming from him so I went right away and ordered up The Godfather and up until that moment the best sandwich I’ve ever had was in Siracusa Sicily but this Deli was right on par and no doubt the best I’ve ever had in Michigan period! I went back three more times during the week and tried the Sicilian which I may have liked even better than The Godfather and the Fat Tony which was equally amazing. The staff was super cool and the store had great products. I already cannot wait to get back here!

Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I've tried 8+ sandwiches thus far and every one of them has been exceptional! Hired them to do our catering for our rehearsal dinner as well. Thus far in the process they have been wonderful to deal with. Very reasonable prices for both dine-in/carry out and catering.

Really solid sandwiches. Stopped by after a full day visiting wineries on Old Mission Peninsula. If we could redo it, I’d pick these up first and then head out (food is limited out there). Everyone in the family loved their sandwiches. The bread is something you’ll remember. The kids working the counter were so kind and the woman at the register talked to my daughter for a long time about art. Makes you wish the whole world treated each other as nicely as the people here. Also, we didn’t order the sandwich in the picture, but we haven’t stopped laughing about its name all night. Will stop again our next visit for sure.

This is my go-to sandwich shop in Traverse City. The prices are excellent ($9-10 a sandwich on average as of 5/31/22) and the ingredients are great. They have a large deli where they slice meats and cheeses in-house and an extensive list of sandwiches to choose from. They also have a wide selection of homemade pastas, wine, cookies, breads, and other gourmet foodstuffs. Their staff is always very friendly, as well!

Folgarelli's is an outstanding specialty market with deli sandwiches that are absolutely wonderful. In my view, these are the best sandwiches in Michigan, maybe even the world. This specialty market has many imported grocery items and a great wine selection. Olives, pastas, and many other dry and canned goods are available, just to name a few.But the real star of the show here is the deli.An astounding array of cheese from all over the world is available, as well as a wide selection of deli meats. Italian specialties like salami and capicola, and American standards like roast beef and turkey are all here. You can buy meat and cheese by the pound and make your own sandwich, but the smart move here is to have Folgarelli's make you one.The sandwiches are excellent, on a variety of fresh breads with awesome meats and cheeses. The homemade accoutrements are gourmet and delightful - the pesto mayo and sun dried tomatoes are two of my favorites, and the homemade Italian dressing is awesome. Build your own sandwich to order or choose from one of about 40 handcrafted combinations. And don't forget dessert - homemade cookies and cannoli.Seriously - when it comes to deli sandwiches, Folgarelli's is king. A can't miss option in beautiful Traverse City.

I had socks on when I walked in but after my first bite of sandwich they were no more as this place literally blew my socks off! The sandwiches, chocolate, service and all around great experience of this little market is well worth a trip if you an out of towner. Locals are lucky!!!

I’m giving one star only because the sandwich was good. Other than that after the the long walk we got there 45 minutes before closing, so no reason to ignore your customers. The cheese selection was very poor just like the dark hair lady behind the counters language. Will not be returning.

Felt like I stepped into an Italian deli in the Bronx artisan quality deli sandwiches loads to pick from understaffed but they are still rockin'. Ordered the number 3 the 21 and I don't know what number this Alaskan smoked salmon is tantalizingly good sandwiches. Also picked up some really good spices and Italian dressing made local, cheesecake and cannolis are to die for. Hand size PB cookies nuke for 10 sec and a big glass of milk OMG.

Italian specialty shoppe. Cookies, pasta, ready made foods, wine. Wonderful variety.

A cool market with lots of pastas, sauces, and wines! Will have to try their sandwiches.
