Terrible management and service! Go some place else folks this bar has had much better days! And by their response below it shows how much management lies! That is not the case with myself get your facts straight! Defamation of my character you really can stoop that low? This proves how bad management really is and lies! This should be negative 5 stars!

Saw the poster for this pub in the elevator of our hotel and decided to check it out - we were glad we did!! Food was good, service was very good and the prices very reasonable!!

This is a review I feel I need to make. I'm from Michigan but came for vacations on Dec 29th. I don't know the times they close but I came at around 9 o'clock that day. The server didn't see me and my husband until late and she apologized for it (nice girl), she even paid for our beer. The problem came when she explained to us that The kitchen was about to close but that they would make our food because she didn't see us on time, she explained that it was her fault. We ordered, got our food, and when we were starting to eat a worker (from the kitchen) complained out loud about 2 people coming in before the kitchen closes (I had no idea what time the kitchen closes on a tourist area like Traverse City). I advice to not let your angry employees get out through the main door saying rude things to people. I only ate because I was hungry but I fell that I was not welcome. I will never come back. Go to Taproot it's way better.

Wasn't busy which was strange, but the beers were cold and service was awesome. We planned a weekend to go to places we have never been to in order to enjoy more of TC. Now we have a great beer stop when we return to TC!

Had a fantastic time watching the Michigan/Ohio State game here Saturday! Zoe was a fantastic waitress and the bartender was awesome too!

My husband and I happened on this gem from a suggestion from the hotel concierge. Time trip to gangster paradise. Beautiful ornate back bar. Has grilled bar food. Had the cheesey pig, a grilled toast sandwich with pulled pork and mac and cheese. It was to die for!! Connected to a second bar called Bootleggers, but we never ventured there.

Stopped for dinner on our way out of town. This place was great! They were getting pretty busy and you can tell that the wait staff was trying their best to stay on top of it all. They were absolutely lovely, the food as good and the prices were decent considering the area. Would definitely return.

Our family of four stopped here for alate lunch. Couple of us got the perch basket, someone got chicken strip basket and someone got the sliders. We ordered and basket of garlic parmesan fries. I have to say this place is awesome. Service was friendly and food came to us very fast. The foods was hot, which we all loved and commitment on it. The portions were big, actually all of us did not eat all of our portion. I have to say this is a great place to stop and have lunch. We were all impressed with everything even with the Michigan football game playing. We definitely return!

O. M. G. ? On a side street in Downtown Traverse City. We were walking around and decided to get dinner. Let me say ?⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐! Our server recommended the burgers where the meat was from a local farm. I got the sliders and the wife got a burger. That was some of the beef beef we've ever had. Our friends got a burger and one of the house sandwiches. Service was awesome. Price was not to bad, considering where we were. Definitely recommend and we will definitely return!

Really cool old time pub servers were very busy but attentive. Lively crowd on a Saturday college football day.
