Culver's on 31 has been a consistent place of quality service and food for many years now. It may be "fast food" but it's treated with care and the people are friendly and do good work! And the food is vastly superior to other fast food outings in town. The only bad thing about all of this is the line at the drive thru tends to get long. Don't come here on your timed lunch! But if you have nowhere to be, one of the best in town!
Counter service was not existent. Had to argue about whether or not I ordered a basket which I did. When I got my food on two trays mind you. Because I didn't get a basket but I got my order because I had to order fries and a drink on the side. My burgers were cold, crispy around the edges, no life left in them to speak of. And the Buns we're just fine. For last week! The bread was breaking on the top and bottom of the bun. Overall I'd have to say if I wasn't so hungry I'd have taken them back myself. I told myself right then and there if I ever get another burger like this from this outfit it'll be the last Burger I'll ever buy there..
It always seems to take a long time between paying and getting my food. But... it's worth it. The Swiss mushroom burger is amazing!!
We stopped by for a late lunch. The servers were upbeat and ready to help. Very short line and they took our order right away. The food tasted great I should have took a picture.
Now this is the story all about how,My life got flipped-turned upside down,And I'd like to take a minute, just sit right there,I'll tell you how I became to eat lunch at Culver's in a town called Traverse City.A couple of teens who were up to some good,Started taking orders in the neighborhood.All the tables were dirty and my wife got scared,And said "ask that gentlemen to wipe off that table right there."I gestured to the man and when him and when came near, he wiped off the the table... no fear.A young lady dropped off our food about seven or eight.... minutes later and I yelled to her "Yo homes... thanks."Looked at my burger, It was finally here,To sit in my seat as Tourists in Traverse City.
My wife and I went there for dinner I got the walleye and she got a burger. Hers was great as usual but my fish was absolutely full of bones and still had scales on the fishes skin very poor quality fish processing...
Icecream mixers very good! Had a strawberries real fruit mixer was tasty

How did this place stay open and busy all through the past 2 years? They have great people and indoor dining when nobody else does. For those of us who are not living in fear every day, it's nice to sit down and enjoy a good meal. Staff is always courteous and the concrete mixers are heaven in a cup.
