10/10 pasties, just like my grandma makes. Owner is very friendly and struck up a nice conversation with us. Will return back and shared that they ship pasties to family members back home. Love the decor as well!
Most people will walk right on by here and not know the amazing meal they are passing up!! If you are from The UP then you will know what a "Pastie" is. If you are from the southern part of Michigan or even out of state, you probably will be the ones walking past here. Your Loss!! pasties have a long history in the UP , it was often the Lunch for the miners. A hearty meat pie that is hand held and easy to eat, full of meat and potatoes and even rutabaga. It is a perfect meal that will fill you up.
Fantastic savory food. The pastry was done as expected, The filling was tasty and the sauces were amazing. Super clean and friendly place… Great prices!
They serve Cornish pasties here. They are good. The gravy takes it from a good thing to a great thing. USE THE GRAVY.
Good homemade pastries in the area, they are worth a try! Don’t put your expectations too high, but their food is like the food you got from Nana’s kitchen, comfortable family food.

Seemed to be a bit of confusion with a quite simple and clearly articulated order. Not the best safe food handling protocols. Pasty was ok, not nearly as good as the reviews I had read suggested.
We LOVE THE PASTIES. The decor is cozy and a delightful spot to enjoy delicious food. The staff is helpful and efficient. We come here every year when we visit from FL.
Has anyone ever, ACTUALLY, seen a real pasty?Not sure what these things are, but they bare no resemblance to one.Also, seriously, what the actual ...? Gravy poured over?I am physically trying to keep my insides from becoming outsides right now. ??Ppic added to show what a real one should look like.
What a lovely place to eat in Traverse City .I would highly recommend coming here for the best Pastie and such a great environment .They offer a full menu with lots to choose from and it’s delicious.
