The frozen lavender lemonade was great!! Unique flavor, the charcuterie was good although we ordered two since they were kind of small for our group. Beautiful scenery
Beautiful building with a great atmosphere. The view of the bay was really nice. Outdoor deck was fabulous. Will definitely come here again when we are in town.
Excellent winery that deserves to be one of the big names of the Old Mission Peninsula! We loved our private wine tasting with our own quiet corner indoors and then enjoying the lawn afterwards. Our tasting host was kind and informative, and we loved the big window walls for a peaceful vineyard view. The fruity wines were not my favorite (just personal preference!) but I shockingly loved both of the reds from our tasting, even though I’m not the biggest fan of reds in general. The outside area was welcoming and relaxing. We loved the vineyard views, the swing, and the bonobo mural for photo opportunities. I would love to come back again sometime :)
They are no longer doing tastings here. You can grab a bite and a glass of wine and sit and chill for a minute but for me, the tasting rooms are what I'm all about. They replaced some of their cool and unique furniture as well. On top of all that, I haven't loved their wine historically and I didn't love the glass that I drank while I was there. They will most likely not make our list next time we go wine tasting.
This is the second time we were here. Another great experience. Great wine and they have a frozen lavender lemonade that is absolutely amazing! Definitely worth stopping in!
Had a wine tasting,my new favorite winery. The small plates were delicious. The staff was really great, so informative. A beautiful setting.
We made a reservation in advance for a tasting. The server seemed rushed and just really uninterested in being there. No special attention or efforts to chat with us at all. We ended up joining friends at the bar where the staff were way more friendly and accommodating. The frozen lavender lemonade is to die for. Sunset views on the patio were ?? We also really enjoyed the bubbly rosé.

Our favorite winery on Old Mission and one of the best in northern Michigan. Unlike many Midwestern wines, Bonobo makes some deliciously dry options we love! The food is elevated and the staff very friendly and accommodating. And the view is SPECTACULAR! We hosted our welcome party and rehearsal dinner here the night before our wedding and it was about as magical as a place can get, complete with resplendent sunset off the back deck. We can’t wait to come back and visit again soon!
This was hands down some of the best food I have ever eaten. I did the food and wine pairing and it was amazing. I usually don’t like pork, or even eat meat, but the pork belly was fantastic. I know almost nothing about wine but each of them went perfectly with the food and the server did a very good job of explaining the wines and the food, you could tell he was very passionate. The price was extremely reasonable for what you get, and the view was amazing.
