Had to wait 10 min after seated for our drinks and menu. Restaurant was like a walk in cooler
Big Boy used to be a weekly breakfast tradition until this year, the food takes too long and the food just never seems right. I once had bacon that tasted as if it has gone bad and we have had fish that was bad. The staff is good but the rest isn't. We haven't been back in about four months.
The server was friendly. The food was just OK. Nothing too spectacular. Definitely overpriced for the satisfaction we got from the meal.
Waited an hour for our food. When we got it, every dish from the eggs to the gravy to the pancakes and French toast were stone cold. Asked to speak with the manager, he and the waitress then got a attitude about me saying something. When I told the manager our whole tables food was cold, he literally threw up his arms and said “I don’t know what to tell ya.” After I repeated myself 3x that every food item was cold, he offered to comp only my meal. I’m not about to make my 3 children eat cold food that should be warm such as gravy and eggs. I’m a former waitress and daughter of a restaurant manager, so I’m pretty understanding and willing to overlook some things but this was beyond that point. I paid for my husbands coffee and left. Very disappointing as we’re in townOn vacation from OKC and wanted to eat someplace that is unique to Michigan. For being a family restaurant in a tourist town like Traverse City, this was embarrassing. The only reason it it’s getting one star is because I can’t give it zero.
Pretty average good, but great service.
We had the Big Boy burgers and fries. They were great and like the ones we loved before Big Boy left Manistee. Super friendly and a great waitress too!
Good food and nice people. The restaurant was recently remodeled and is pretty nice inside. My service from Samantha has always been amazing
Had a great breakfast two eggs over easy hash browns and ham toast and pancakes with strawberries very good breakfast

My waitress was good the food leaves alot to desire. It is bland and boring. After they took away the buffet I don't see any reason to go there anymore.
