We were greeted with a warm smile and amazing customer service. The sandwiches and treats were to die for. I can’t wait to come back. So happy we found this gem. Thank you!!

You cant beat, the best the selection of baked goods. Great sandwiches too!!

It’s a great location close to the bay, but the egg cheese and bacon bagel was just ok. Not spectacular and a little overpriced, but I’m willing to try the other goodies such as the carrot cake cupcake or a loaf of bread! The staff were kind and quite busy!

I am totally addicted to a couple items in your bakery. The All American Bread seems to be a constant breakfast toast at my home. I just can’t seem to get enough of this bread. Yum ?. And lastly, I love the dessert bars with coconut, chocolate, shortbread, caramel, nuts. And oh my goodness are they soooooo delicious. I sit down with one of those and my afternoon Latte and I’m one very happy lady. Thank you.

I'm a native local and have always LOVED bay bread! They're bread products are the BEST and the Cafe selections are amazing as well. With that being said... You REALLY need to work on your customer service. I work for a local independent business who supports local business and buys staff lunch on Saturdays. Today we chose Bay Bread... I called in my 7 person order and was met with annoyance on the phone to start. I apologized for placing an order (which I shouldn't have had to) and silence on the other end.  I tried to pay over the phone and she didn't put me on hold before also being annoyed and complaining about that to whoever else and I could hear it so again I apologized with nothing in return. There was also a few other "annoyances" I was apparently making for her that she stressed over the phone.Upon picking up,  I expressed my apologies again and how it was a little rude on the phone and the woman ringing me up was equally as rude. I hate leaving negative reviews but upon looking at the reviews it seems this is a COMMON occurrence here. Everyone loves your food but your front end employees are just not friendly or helpful or thankful for your customers that keep you going.  I see as an owner you've replied multiple times that this never happens but obviously it continues. I will probably be back again but not for a while. I'll buy your bread from the grocery store instead of being met with hostility and annoyance from stopping in.  That's disappointing because again, I am a HUGE supporter of local businesses but local business are normally know for their kindness and this is something your staff needs to work on.

The sandwiches are to die for and we ordered rolls for easter that melt in your mouth. Paired with the cherry butter? Indescribable it was so delicious. The guys baking in the back are so funny with each other and love hearing customer comments. Would be fun to come to if it wasn’t for the blonde chick.Rating 4/5 stars because although our sandwiches were delightful, the blonde haired woman making them- who was also the woman we picked up our easter order is a terrible grump. Makes me nervous to ever come back again. Two gentlemen leaving as I was coming in said, “man that woman is a b****” and the other one said “in customer service you have to be nice, I almost said something.”She ruins the whole experience because her energy is just. that. bad. You’ll know when you go in, she’s almost always working. Could tell she wasn’t the owner because she had a load to say about them as well! Unprofessional.

Great sourdough, challah, ciabatta pretzel and other baked goods. One of the best Michigan bakeries. Great sandwiches. Wonderful staff. Highly recommended.

Best Christmas stollen ever (well, next to my mom's who raised it to a high art). Mom would give it high marks!!!

Delicious bread and sandwiches, wonderful staff.

Love this place, amazing food and bread made with love!!
