Service was very good ?Cheese sauce instead of cheese? Never in a Mexican restaurant..... wasn't even good cheese sauce.Not that good but not terrible. Drinks are good
Definitely not a bad place to get some tacos/Mexican food. Everything was hot and fresh when it came out seems like the tacos I got had a excessive amount of parsley on them like A lot so much so it seemed like a joke. The food was not bad just very basic nothing amazing. But the price was very good didn't break the bank. The restaurant it self seemed old and needs some tlc because a lot of stuff was falling apart. Next time I'll probably just pass and get pizza.
Waited 5 minutes, got sat, had our drink order taken by a guy that looked very rude and was being very rude. He brought us our drinks and messed it up and we thanked him and he just walked away. Did not come back after and was busy talking to other people and checking other people out for 20 minutes. I would’ve been a little more understanding, but they weren’t short staffed and there was only like two other groups in there. No reason for being treated like this and having to wait that long. My family (I’m visiting from up north) says that guy has been there and has always been rude to them. He shouldn’t work there, so beware of coming here cause you may just have to leave ??♀️
Just tried to sit down for lunch with my wife. Took about 20 mins before anyone came to our table which is fine being short staffed we understood. Finally a young lady came and took our order had forgotten my wife’s drink so we reminded her when she brought it back she slammed it on the table and didn’t say anything after. Needless to say we got up and left. That was so rude on her part. We will not be going back.
I would like to make everyone aware of a massive price issue. A small margarita (12 oz) is $3.99. A medium (27 oz) is $8 but a monster (32 oz) is $19! What most places call a mucho is $19 here. They don’t give drink menus unless you specifically ask and then they surely don’t explain that you could order 5 12 oz ones for the price of a 32 oz. these are also made with mix and not much else. I have had amazing margaritas with no premade mix for much less. do not order a monster
Wish I could give this place more stars. My dad wanted to show us this restaurant since we had never been there. Multiple staff saw us waiting… nobody showed up to seat us or let alone acknowledge our existence. We left and went to Chili’s. ??♀️
On Saturday January 29th, 2022, my wife and I went to Agave's restaurant in the Cherry land mall. We don't live in Traverse city, so it is a nice place to go see. We arrived around 6 pm. We were sitted and asked for our drink request. When we said we would like a few more minutes to decide what we wanted to order, it took the waiter almost 30 minutes to come back even as he passed close to us multiple times and we were just talking. He walked by too quick to tell him we were ready though and he never stopped to ask either. My order was 3 soft shelled beef tacos with sides of rice and beans. The waiter was good at first. Filling our drinks and such. When the meal came, my order was wrong and he walked away too quickly without making sure everything was okay and we couldn't tell him it was wrong. I had what I thought was chicken. I waited to catch our waiter. He never came back until he brought the bill. I decided to eat it. It was not that good. When we received the bill and realized it was fish not chicken, I don't know how you get fish from the words beef tacos, even with us pointing to the one we wanted. So my meal doubled in prices because of the wrong meal. We paid our bill but will not be coming back again. This is the 4th time this has happened and all with different waiters each time.
Great food.I Had a craving that needed fixed..Agave mexican grill did the trick.. i am very happy.. good food an a great server.. only bad was i sat by a vent/blower an never got warm.. the food makes up for it..just had to keep my jacket on..
We stopped by for lunch while on vacation at Traverse City. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks were delicious!
The food was tasty, and quick. Prices were solid.However... The service was absolutely horrible.Our order was taken incorrectly, and even after having it fixed, we were still charged for the incorrect item, instead of the correct one.We waited 20+ minutes, with our coats on, for our server to even show up to ask for boxes and our bill. Prior to that, we were visited only once by the server.And when a manager was asked for, none were even on site.
