Came here on 4/27. My husband really wanted to try this place. Our decision quickly turned into regret. We had the taco fries to start and they were amazing until I saw a hair in the food when we were about 3/4 done. I did not want to eat the pizza after that but my husband really wanted me to try it. We had the seafood pizza and it was nastiest pizza I have ever had. The first thing I noticed when I picked up a slice of the $40 pizza was the imitation crab. Cheap ingredients on an expensive pizza. The pizza tasted like dish detergent, rubbery imitation crab, and disgusting tasting shrimp. I took one bite and stopped eating. My husband did the same. A waste of $75 after tip for fries with hair and imitation crab detergent tasting pizza. We left the entire medium sized pizza on table minus one bite and vowed to never try any of their locations again.
1st time eating Detroit style pizza. Recommend by the hotel staff, I Ubered an order to the room. Small pizza and small antipasto salad. Food was perfect temperature and was fantastic. I love trying popular local pizza when I'm on the road. So crispy and light. Don't let the Sicilian style scare you. It's delicious but not heavy. Salad was well put together with plenty of fresh ingredients. Excellent.
How the mighty have fallen… ? Pizza Papalis used to be great but this was a horrible experience. We came here because there were only a few cars in the parking lot and we’re high risk for Covid. Now we know why it’s nearly empty during lunch on Friday when everyplace else nearby is packed! I think they were only one or two other tables with customers (a bad sign)… I told the hostess my husband is very ill (not contagious) and asked to sit as far from others as possible for his safety. She said she understood and it wouldn’t be a problem. But in this WIDE OPEN restaurant, the VERY NEXT PERSON who came in was seated RIGHT NEXT TO US, so we had to rush to eat and get out as soon as possible! The waitress had an attitude from the beginning and kept interrupting me while I was trying to order. She also called me “honey” repeatedly which is SUPER annoying! My husband’s salad was full of huge pieces of lettuce which the prep person should have cut smaller. The pre-tip check for his salad and iced tea was $16.82?!! My salad had a fruit fly in it and they were also flying around our table before we received any food. I returned the salad and cancelled the rest of my order. I don’t recommend it and don’t plan to ever return…
Not what I expected, almost everyone says it's a 10/10 or 5 stars but it might just be me but it tasted absolutely trash. Even Chuck-e-Cheese had better pizza. Came for Chicago Style, tried one bite, left with compleatly empty stomach.50 dollars for that? Way, way, way, WAY too over priced. Sure my family thought it was good. A person with no experience making a pizza could make it better. It was so bad Taco-Bell could make a better pizza, World War 2 MRE's tastes better. My dead dad could cook better! Videogame pizza looks better. Sure the employee were nice, but it tasted way too undercooked.Never never never eating here again! 2 stars.
Ordered carryout online from here for pick up at 3pm and they were ready on time. My wife and me got Chicago style with pepperoni but we ordered Detroit style for the kids since they don't like it Chicago way and the pizza was thick, large slices and the kids loved it. A few crane games and things to do if waiting to be seated. Staff was friendly and pizza was just like Greektown location!
Friendly staff, great service. Best deep dish around hands down. Nice selection of beers. Don't be afraid to build your own deep dish. Note the deep dish does take 45 minutes to cook so be prepared! It's worth it! Nice beer selection. TVS on the wall to watch games if necessary.
Great cheese sticks and Chicago style pizza! Friendly service all around. I really liked how our waitress told us approximately how long each pizza took to bake, that way we weren’t left sitting there wondering when ours was coming. I will have to try the Greektown location next!
Tater tot appetizer was delicious! Our waitress was amazing. The pizza wasn't great and the dough was undercooked. I would give it another shot if Little Caesars closed.
It was one of the best pizzas we were traveling from Indiana that we have had in a long time very friendly service enjoyed it very much
Saturday, January 8 my cousin order a pizza from this location I’ve been eating deep dish seafood pizza 25 years mostly from the downtown, Jefferson occasionally Oak Park this was the worst seafood deep dish pizza I’ve ever ate I got through two slices and wanted to literally throw them up, some type of creamy sauce was in there that does not belong. They should send their staff to the more seasoned locations to learn how to make the pizza correctly it was absolutely disgusting !! A waste of money
