The food was ok but that woman answering the phone obviously hates her life and job. She was the most obnoxious person ever!
I’ve been going to Panchos since they opened their first location in lincoln park over 20 years ago. The customer service has took a complete turn for the worse. I go to the Taylor location and besides the lady owner the other two ladies that work evenings there are very rude. With coronavirus and restaurants closing everyday you’d think they would care about loyal customers. I asked for extra olives minus avocado and Jalapeño (i’m in the restaurant industry)are more expensive than olives and they charged me extra. i eliminated 2 items that would cost more than olives. You used to be able to order the specials no matter what day with an up charge. Nope new rules after all these years. I love the food but can’t put up with all the rudeness and overcharging now. Sad
There food is great much much better then the commercial Mexican food like taco (Hell) bell everyone thinks is good Mexican food but it's NOT!!! Pancho's is more authentic than any other restaurant within a three to five mile range from my house that I have found. There salsa could use some work it's not bad it's just watery looking and a little bland in the taste if you don't like your mouth on fire. I love love love their enchiladas it's the best tasting I've had since I've had my mother's enchiladas. Which is saying a lot.
Got the steak fajita dinner it tastes good but for the price I would have drove to Linkin Park and got more for my money $15 and not even three steak fajitas
