WOW!! WOW!! WOW!!! Took the family for dinner tonight, a smidge pricey but it was definitely worth it! Mini boil, I had the hungry guy special (forgot the name) but it had everything! The sauce and spice was done perfect! Service was excellent even catered to the little ones needs for her salad! If I could give more than 5 stars totally would! Also as an owner of a Cajun seafood restaurant in Buffalo Ny I RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO EVERYONE that visits the area!!
Dinner and entertainment!!! Lots of stuff going on in the background of this joint..... Poor use of crab for the app. The cajon boil is what it is and it was was good. Hella hard time figuring out how to eat crawfish. And why dehead a shrimp if you don't deshell it..... This place lives up to it's name. Worth the try..... Second try tbd
It's hard to find good seafood away from the coast these guys did a great job . You need to come eat here . The restaurant was easy to find. They were kind of busy so I had a short wait. The hostesses and servers were very friendly. They do a lot of boils and I got the scholarships and dungeon crab. It was delicious the best seafood I've had in quite a while

Ivy J is the server who took care of me, I got takeout, she was hosting as well. She was sweet and she made sure to put gloves, bibs, and napkins in the bag along with a takeout menu. Pictures is the king crab boil with 1lb of shrimp and broccoli added, it comes with potatoes and corn, the other bag is snow crab clusters (2) with sausage added and it also comes with corn and potatoes. Everything tastes delicious except the corn (over cooked) but I liked everything else and I still ate the corn. Food was delicious.
Good place to eat food was very good. You can order some dishes on the menu half off after 4pm.
Hook & Reel was very tasty. We caught the Happy hour on Tuesday. 1/2 off certain drinks (they are good but weak), appetizers and baskets. They give you a lot of food. The price is reasonable (market prices). They also have pre selected combos that’s not on the menu. Ask about Group A or Group B. The seasoned garlic butter is the perfect flavor. The Cajun fries are really good as well. Try broccoli, rice or noodles in your bag. You won’t be disappointed. The staff was very friendly. It was very clean and they take precaution for Covid as well. I would highly recommend.
The food is super delicious, the place charming. There's a pirate statue in the lobby. The only thing I didn't care for was the rushed service. The dinner was brought to our table only a few minutes after our appetizers, the bill before our second Margarita. I'd still go back for the food. If you don't know what a seafood boil is go check it out. It's also birthday friendly and the cheese cake is the real deal!
We loved Hook and Reel…until last time we went. The service was so bad, we waited OVER AN HOUR for everything, we even waited 30 minutes for someone to come over and take our drink menu. The manager said they were “short staffed” but there were literally staff members just huddled together at the front of the restaurant chatting, and our “waitress” was at the bar chatting with the bar tender. It was terrible.
