The food is what you'd expect at a buffet. Not amazing, but not terrible. We had an attentive server who was great. The big disappointment for us was that not only was there no chocolate fountain (what usually sets this place apart from other buffets), but the ice cream machines were off as well, so our dessert options were limited to mostly cookies. To end on a positive note, the salad bar was fresh and absolutely delightful, probably the best part of the whole experience.
First time back since the pandemic with the exception of the ham, ribs, and soup the rest of the dishes were awful and tasteless. I could always count on getting a good salad. Lettuce had brown pieces. Coleslaw had no taste. Soda machine was not working on several of the flavors. Not even the barbecue chicken was on point. Needless to say the prices went up. Before the pandemic I stayed up in that place. Don't see myself returning any time soon, but if I do I will try another location. Maybe it was a new staff
I was okay until I walked in and encountered the cashier and the bouncer that was in back of her (arms folded and face so mean and hard it could carve steel). Those 2 women should not have been chosen as the first people you see when you enter the establishment. The frowns on their faces definitely gave the impression that they did not want to be there as well as accept me and my family as customers. We understood what the prices were, because not only was there a huge menu board, but the cashier kept telling us as if we couldn't afford it, even after we told her we understood and had our funds out to pay. And the bathrooms were too dirty to use and so my mother walked out and opted to wait until she got home. Now for the only good parts; the gentleman that was assigned our section to give us silverware as well as keep our table clean was a jewel. He went above and beyond to keep us comfortable and happy. I gave 2 stars only because of the waiter and food -- not all the food options just the mash potatoes, meatloaf, fried chicken, fried fish, shrimp and hush puppies. Everything else was basic.
Best place to eat . From steak to every kind of food , you can think of. Everything hot and fresh an delicious. Mexican food, Chinese, every vegetable, rolls . American food . Everything. First time I was there . Lots of people, but it was not a problem . You can fix your food fast and when you sit down to eat it's still very hot. Our girl that took our plates was fantastic. Remember always tip well. They work hard.. Every desert you can think of. ENJOY .I DID. YUMMY
This is a weekend lunch staple for me and my wife. The buffet food is always fresh and hot, and the waitresses are always friendly. Really good barbecue choices, and I also love the fried fish. A great variety. Also a full salad bar and desert too!Pro-tip: Dinner is a little pricey, so save money by going in just before 4pm. Lunch ends at 4, so you get lunch pricing and have access to food choices that are only available at dinner after 4pm.
The food was good our waitress was very friendly and attentive the price is reasonable. However the place was a mess tables chairs and floors, a lil too over crowded considering our current situation with covid. No food allergies signs up definitely not good for ppl with seafood or nut allergies.I do understand the time in which I went was the 1st of the month and a Sunday so ppl were every where. My first time ever having a bad experience at this location.
One thing I love the most about this place is their wheelchairs accessible wide isle lower food stands easy to reach. Dine in is open now no mask or social distancing required. Food selections are varied I had a burnt bread pudding I am sure this is not a daily situation just one bad day I love their roasted chicken and green bean casserole.
Slow check in process, elderly lady doing the ringing up needed additional help to hurry things along. Pop machine at check in was out of order for most selections and the wait on fried chicken was ridiculous! When it came, 20 mins later - it was hot and good. The grill where the steak was being cooked was FILTHY, the tires on my car are cleaner! Then, when u say u want well done, chef takes cooked meat sitting in a pan, dip in water and toss back on dirty grill and then toss it on your plate!! I couldn't pay myself to stomach that steak, just tossed it!! The salad bar had no meat, like chicken or turkey and what was left of the lettuce was wilted! None of the sides were hot or even warm, just room temperature at best! Rolls were good. Waitress (Barb?) was excellent, only bright spot of the visit!! This are all things that can be improved upon if workers cared enough about the product they put out!
Zero stars.Food was bland or over salty. Fish was undercooked and several items were overcooked. Not very clean. High chairs smelled like old mop water. Would not recommend it. First time going. Will not return.
Just wrapping up dinner with my boyfriend; for as busy as they were everyone did very well at keeping up. I mostly wanted to post and thank our server Mark for everything! He was super great! Friendliest smile, great attitude and hard worker!
