Wife and I went to this place for lunch, I got 4 bones and the wife got chicken tenders, the server said the tenders were good size. I have to say the ribs and tenders were a joke the manager tried convince me that the ribs were the same THEY were a waste of time her tenders were like 3 inches, one of the ribs were absent of any meat and the other 3 were not much better I use to love the ribs won’t be back and our bill was 50 bucks a total waste of money and time…
This famous Dave’s has gone way down hill. Ordered half slab center cut rib dinner. Got all the way home to find out they gave us rib tips. Called back and spoke with a Andrew which is extremely rude and needs to put his long ponytail in a hair net. Then go back only to be given the wrong food again and then when Andrew brought it back for the third time he comes to the front with the box completely open and practically throws it on the counter with it completely open and no bag. Then has the nerve to tell me he will no longer serve me. Little does he know I will NEVER go back there!!! There food is way overpriced and very small portions. This place has totally changed no wonder there’s no one there any more.

Loved the food and the service. Our waitress was the best. Ribs and sides were all great. We were also seated in a timely fashion even with the place being kind of full. Desert 5 stars. We ordered 2 plates of the bread pudding and ice cream.
We sat at the bar, had a few drinks then ordered the sampler platter. Food was awesome, as usual(and was delivered to us quickly) drinks were also amazing, especially considering the "bartender" told us that she was truly a waitress and that the bartender had called off. I, unfortunately do not remember her name but she was right on top of things, like updating us on when food would be ready. We always have a good experience while there, never a complaint.
Wife and I both had the bbq chicken sandwich with fries followed by bread pudding. All were excellent and service was great.... Afterwards we were both incredibly thirsty. Not sure if it was the fries or sandwich. We would still go back but maybe skip the fries!
I had my sister Birthday Party there in March 26th and everyone was so accommodating especially the female manager. Our waitress did an excellent job and the food was delicious. Thanks to the Male General Manager for being so accommodating too.

The food was good. But the waitress was terrible. We didn't get our appetizer until after our food arrived. Waited 20 min for refills. And still paid for our whole meal. She didn't even offer an excuse or apology for the terrible service. As someone who has worked a famous Dave's. You can do better.
Unfortunately, not great BBQ this time. Have been to several other Famous Dave's, and this was a let down. Brisket lacked the typical smoked flavor. Hopefully they can make some flavor adjustments. This was in the Detroit area, Taylor.
