I didn't know this place existed until someone told me about it & on this day I visited the manager was awesome. Let me just say I spent in Just STEAK MEAT $110 and came home with 41 Steaks...WOW that roughly $2.69 per steak and I'm talking 32 NY STRIPS & 9 PORTER HOUSE. They have a lot more go check it out. There's another Cattleman's store on the Eastside around 10 Mile, if you're out that way.Thank you Cattleman's &God Bless
The butchers are awesome. Super friendly and helpful. The store is very small. If more than 5 people are in there it's hard to get around. Nice selection of products. prices are decent.
Well I had not been to Cattleman's since I moved to Colorado over 10 years ago. But I stopped in today (7/6/22) and was right at home ?️? once again. I met Kevin, the manager now, and we briefly chatted about my memory of the old store layout. He then pointed out the location of some meat ?? that I was looking for and, when we discovered together that an old favorite meat ?? was not available, he said that he would check on it's future availability for me. All in all, it was a great return experience for me to an old, favorite, store. They have ample parking available and are handicap accessible. Masks are optional at this time.Rick Zorn
Great selection enjoyed my first time going there
This place is a historic gem. My great grandparents used to come here (I'm sure it was a bargain then too.) Shopping here for meat beats spending money at the supermarket on meat. In these uncertain times, cattleman's has remained consistent with pricing. Although experiencing some expected price increases due to inflation, there hasn't been anything significant. The quality is always there. The people are always incredibly helpful and friendly. My first time in there I probably looked like a deer in headlights and a very kind and helpful employee in the cooler told me how I could save some money. And the brisket?!! Omg. Please do yourself a favor and try it. You're welcome.
Prices are not as good a a they used to be but still usually cheaper than the grocery store. Always friendly guys in the meat department. Very knowledgeable.
I bought a beef tenderloin in which the butcher spent sometime trimming as much as the butcher next to him serviced 3 customer as the worked on mine one tenderloin. Upon getting it home to prepare for my family including young children the smell was so rancid from spoiled meat you knew immediately the meat was spoiled. So upon scrambling to another store to ensure my family had a nice Sunday dinner the store was closed. Whole at work I asked my husband to gather the meat to return and after arriving at the store I noticed out of 3 packages he grabbed one wrong one. The meat manager proceed to take what I brought back to the back of store and returned with a sticker and stated the hound lady at the register would take care of me in which once she processed my return it was for 1/2 of the amount of what I paid stating I can only refund what you bring back. Ok I will drive another half hr round trip to bring back your spoiled meat that you let me walk out the store in the first place to serve to my family. In which I made the trip and when I returned the spoiled meat. First you allowed a customer to walk out of your store with spoiled meat, then when I returned 2/3 of it and you do not communicate that you are only refunding part of what I paid (note the manager just walked away and never said a word about what he was refunding) to return with the remainder of the spoiled meat and when I said I was appalled that you would except me to bring the rest back for my full refund after the smell of spoiled meat. His response sorry thought you heard me. This is not the customer service that you would except from a meat market especially with the liability they would be responsible for if it was eaten by my young children. Their employee that trimmed the meat and knew the smell was there. What kind of training do you offer your employees? It seems like very little or just told to make the sale let them worry about it when they get home in hopes they just say forget it and the store makes the profit. I would give you a negative 10 if this review allowed it. I will make sure I let everyone know the type of experience you gave me tonight and the nasty meat you let me walk out your store with. Poor quality poor customer service. It is one thing to make a mistake but not to correct it the right way totally uncalled for. And yes I had the receipt which shows the meat was purchased the day before. Invest in your employees and the customers so they return. I will never be back to your store after this experience. The guys in the cooler area are super knowledgeable and were great with helping me decide which kind of cut I wanted. They were very friendly! The meat is great, and there's just something nice about supporting a business like them. Highly recommend!
The best place to get meats. You can find any types of meat, poultry, pork you want. Never had a problem at cattleman's. And they carry Dearborn brand. Awesome!!!!
Wanted to buy a meat bundle and filet mignon. While trying to get the meat bundle 2 times employees came out and said the next guy would assist me. No one ever came out and the 2 employees took off and hid in another area so not to be bothered. Sorry Cattleman, poor service cost you a $500 sale
