This is the first and last time with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered sweet-and-sour chicken combo for my lunch as a carry out. The food was absolutely terrible! I could of had better Chinese food from the frozen food section of a supermarket. The pieces of chicken were very small and mostly all dried out. It had more batter then anything else and I could not really even see the chicken. The rice tasted rubbery and not good at all. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Needless to say I will not be coming back here ever again.

Over the last couple of years, it is getting worse and worse. Take a look of the first picture kongpao chicken 宫保鸡丁,it just mix of veggies and chicken, not stir fried.I have no idea the second dish is considered Sichuan dish.Just saw another post saying they changed the chef, that is why.I will still give them 3 Star, in case you like Chinese American food, go there. Or you can find in any Panda Express

March 2022: Sadly, they no longer have the lunch buffet. It sounds like they've gotten rid of it permanently (or at least until COVID has vanished from the world and a restaurant operator doesn't have to worry about communal serving). That's a bummer; I always enjoyed it, and ordering off the menu as a solo diner means I only get one big plate of a single thing, which isn't as fun.Fortunately, the rest of their food is superb. I've only ever ordered off of Menu 2, the Sichuan menu (because if I wanted standard Cantonese-American, I could get that anywhere), and everything I've ever had has been outstanding.

This place was good and I enjoyed the food here, however, it was a bit oily and was not as flavorful as I expected . The portions are huge and the restaurant is spacious. If they reduced the oil and added a little bit of a flavor profile, this food would too notch. The prices are very reasonable for the portions they offer. I would recommend everyone to try this place and decide for themselves. Service seemed basic yet competent. They don’t have excessively friendly servers like a typical American restaurant but they are busy bodies and get your order right. Overall a good place to visit with family.

There are a lot of options for Chinese food in the area, but I would choose to come back to this place instead of trying others. The food was good tasting, hot, the portion sizes were generous, and the ingredients tasted fresh. The service was attentive and polite. I can't wait to return to try other dishes. Also the price for lunch is excellent.

What I had here wasn't bad but it wasn't remarkable to where I think I would go out of my way to return. I ordered the gong bao shrimp and it was a 6/10. I ordered the extra hot but it wasn't very spicy at all in my opinion. The flavors were okay but my shrimp was also a bit overcooked. Service was decent, waited about 15 mins for the food.

New customer. Ordered crispy eggplant dish and boiled pork dish.Every pieces of eggplant was covered with totally unnecessary and unpleasant amount of thick batter, with hardly any eggplant inside. It was basically just fried batter. It reminded me of sweet and sour chicken you get at a typical Americanized Chinese restaurant. Nothing authentic about it.The boiled pork tasted okay, although the texture of the meat was not to my liking, too rubbery and fatty.Should've ordered what I normally get at an authentic Szechuan restaurant instead of trying something different. Although in theory, every single dish should taste good for the price they're charging.

I can't say enough good things about this place. By far, without a doubt, the best Chinese restaurant in the metro Detroit area. The food is always amazing and the portions are large. We always end up ordering with our eyes and get way too much food! If you haven't been here before, definitely worth checking this place out!

Authentic and tasty. Bring your sense of adventure! Everything tastes great. Sichuan lamb is a favorite. The veggies are fun and flavorful. Both stir fries beef and Mongolian beef raised my standards for the future. Enjoy, experiment, have fun!

Authentic Sichuan dishes and also American Chinese food.I loved the pickled vegetable and fish soup - it's not fishy as long as you eat it while hot. Even my boyfriend was hesitant to try it at first but now he's a fan.We ordered a soup and 3 dishes for variety. Have plenty of leftovers for 2 people. Dinner was $65.Spicy beef noodle soup had good flavor but could have been spicier. Too much noodles. I would ask for half the noodles if I order this again.Dry fried spicy fish was very tasty. Mapo tofu was okay - I like it with more sauce, flavor, and spice. It takes a while for the food to come out - around 20 mins. Order an appetizer if you arrive starving. Don't expect great customer service here. Hot tea was a legit Chinese tea with good flavor (not watered down!). Food is awsome overall. I would bring friends here to try some authentic Chinese food.
