Sahara Restaurant has excellent quality food and service, very nice and friendly staff. I definitely would recommend this restaurant for anyone who likes the best quality food and a friendly atmosphere.
Delicious food! Great Service!
Food was delicious. However, every single dish was gross on the bottom of them. The top eating side was clean but bottom of them felt grimy and like they’ve never been wiped on that side.
Delicious but a few things were underwhelming. Recommend going with the rice over vegetables. And definitely recommend the falafels!
Walked in and was told to take a seat anywhere. Sat down and waited for 10 minutes for a waiter. Had to go up to the front to get a waiter to come by. A guy came up to us a couple minutes later while me and my dad were just staring at the blank table and asked if we were ready to order and we never even got a menu to begin with. The prices are very high and reading the reviews this isn’t the first time they’ve had bad service and reviews on how the food isn’t fresh, with the service and overpricing I’m not surprised that the food is probably not so good, so me and my dad knew to not take a chance here and left to go to La marsa in Bloomfield. (Really great food and really good $25 lambchops) <3 Would really recommend if you want great service and affordable/fresh food (:
Chicken Schwarma was excellent and I love the Sahara dressing on just about everything ?My only complaint which isn’t really a complaint was the Falafel Salad. I was expecting something different it was still good because I love chickpeas, but it looked more like a hummus with falafel in it, not a salad. I would still definitely go here again but just stick with the Fattoush salad that I am more familiar with. In there defense the manager did explain how there falafel salad is made before I paid. Great speedy service also. Thanks!☺️
Absolutely horrible service. How can I give this a venu a zero? They don’t deserve a single star. Their service is mediocre at best. Their food is average made for third world population. Customer feedback is pushed aside. They seem used to customer complaints with so many giving them bad rating.
Great service. Very professional stuff. Great food. Great banquet hall. It’s a franchise, but this specific branch definitely operates like a family owned business with the level of care and love they put into their food and gift to their customers. Through 2020 I became a regular at Sahara, and will continue to go there on a regular basis, and continue to recommend everyone go there for a great dining experience. A++++++
Food is horrible definitely not worth what u pay for.Had to wait for the waitress for 15min to return back with garlic lol.First and last visit there! ?
Worst waitress and manager, they charged us extra for second refill and told us it is our responsibility to read the menu. Waitress so mean , looking at the other side when she was taking the orders, and had bad attitude. Manager didn’t care and didn’t apologize for the bad attitude of his employees.Edit 1: the owner/manager reply only focused on the Coke charge and left everything else. How about training your employees about good attitude toward their customers? Is it fair for a waitress to say to the customer “It is your responsibility to read the menu”? I, is it fair for the person that assigns seats to say to the customer “if you want to change the table, take the menu and go sit wherever you want”? How about a caring manager that when he knows there is an issue that he /she take the initiative and go apologize to the customer? Obviously there are basics the manager is missing/ 1) training his employees to treat customers, 2) if he only focuses on replying to this review about soda charges and fully ignores how his employees have no idea how to deal with people.
