I don’t like to give new negative reviews as I know how hard those employees work. But this time was from the most worse experience I had with fast food. Chicken were over cooked like its almost burned. Felt sick after eating. Parking lot sign is damage like someone hit it. After i saw other customers negative reviews. I really asking where is the franchise management from this store? Disappointed and I won’t never go back to this place again.
I ordered 2 chicken sandwiches at the drive thru. On May 26th around 3 PM. The chicken was greasy and appeared to have been fried at least twice and the coating was dark brown. When I got home I fed them to my dog. Not like advertised that's for sure.
Had a wing craving & chicken shack, my usual go to, closed 15min early again, for the 2nd day in a row? So, decided to try Popeyes. They were out of regular wings but had spicy, so I ordered those. Waited a good 15min, the window person was semi-friendly but not really attentive. Too busy cuttin up with co-workers. Ended up handing me the wrong bag. Nothing what I ordered but I was so hungry I ate it anyway. It was hot and reasonably tasty, but not what I was craving. Disappointed ?
Sometimes you have to wonder how hard it is to take a order correctly........especially when you're the only person in line. ??♀️ Ordered fish and had chicken when I got home. Purchased in sterling Heights and I live in royal oak. Just not worth the return.
Worst fast food store I have ever been to. Took 15 mins for a chicken sandwich and nobody was in line. Cold food. Half my fries were in the bottom of the bag, cold. They were out of everything so I got water. I asked for sauce, didn't get that either. Just shut this place down. Seriously, you guys are doing ZERO things right. If I could, I'd even ask for a refund.
I hate giving bad reviews, but here goes. Payed 5.49 for Mac and cheese. Wasn't in there. Wanted to go back and get it, but with gas prices up and living too far, we'll the rest is history. Wouldn't complain but this is not the first time. The chicken was overcooked and dry. I don't want a free meal or a we're sorry to make things better, just do better. The company made and extra $5.50 for free.
I give it 3 stars only because they were out of almost everything. It was one of those situations where you had to be like well what do you have. Then after you sat in line to be told we don't have this or that you just get something because you feel like you wasted your time waiting just to say yeah can I get the 3 piece strips but they only have mild. So you say that is fine to be told well we dont have any dipping sauce. So you get the two piece chicken instead. Get to the window and ask for hot sauce and honey in your bag to be told yeah we don't have that either. The plus was the food was hot. Everything tasted as if it was fresh. The lady at the window was semi friendly. So they just get an okay for now. Maybe things will get better and they become fully stocked one day.
Every time I come to this location at night. They literally have workers that will pull their cars in the drive-through and block drive-through so they do not have to work. This is the sixth time this is happened. Every time you see someone from the hood managing any of these locations, they think they can do what they want at night. Like having their friends/family members hanging out in the store, blocking drive-through so they don’t have to work. They’re rude as hell on the speakerphone through drive-through. This place is just straight ghetto. And if you get your order it’ll take about 45 minutes to drive through on a two piece, which is ridiculous.
I got to order and asked for nuggets. She said she didn't think they had any so told me to wait. 10 minutes later a different guy asks me for my order. I told him I was waiting to see of you had nuggets. He said, "of course we do, we're a chicken place". I was like, okaaay. So I went ahead and ordered. Keep in mind, I am stuck because they have a huge curb so you can't really get out of line. It took almost 30 minutes to get my order after I paid. And when I did, the food wasn't even hot. I'm from the south and used to go to Popeys all the time and always had a great experience. This was my first time in Michigan and I couldn't have been more disappointed. It was ridiculous. The food went in the garbage.
Well I'll tell you one thing I'll never order from Popeye's on Van Dyke Warren again. It was my granddaughter's boyfriend's birthday so I thought I'd have them each sent to mail to celebrate his birthday and I added a strawberry cheesecake pie and a medium Dr pepper for each of them well guess what the cheesecake strawberry pie was missing and so was the Dr peppers four items missing out of six that's sad and it had to be the restaurants fault cuz they're the ones that prepared the order tried to call and the girls that answered the first time kept hanging up on me so it's very poor service and I suggest that people don't order from them customer service is terrible at that location
