Food was great! Hostess can use some customer service skills. No acknowledgement upon walking in. It seemed as if we were interrupting her phone scrolling time by having to ask to be seated.. without saying a word. Grabbed two menus (there were 5 of us)and walked us to a table. Sat them down …. And still without any words rapidly left. Our server on the other hand was fabulous. We asked to be moved inside and to a larger table to accommodate all of us because we didn’t want to sit outside… had the hostess spoken to us she’d known this.
Tonight i had one amazing waitress. Her name is Stella. Her great service matched the good, hot & lovely prepared food & strong enough drinks!!! Im happy && see the pics. Im impressed ?
Went there with my 11 year old grand daughter. Sat at a booth. Greeted promptly. Nice lighting and windows. We did not eat. Service was good. Beer price a little high but not for a nice place. I will go back as I felt comfortable having my granddaughter there. I will order food next time.
We had a Gender Reveal party at the Sterling Hts location today (3/12/22). It was awesome! From my initial contact speaking to Russell the manager (night manager?), then working with Carmen for the in house catering and our waitress, Alyssa, it couldn’t have been an easier or smoother process. This is my second experience with them handling a group of 20-30 (first was Oct 2020 for the after funeral for my dad). I have nothing but good things to say. Staff, food, whole experience was excellent! Thank you Johnny Blacks for a great experience!! BTW…it’s a girl ?
Loved the food & atmosphere. I had the fish & chips & they were delicious. The Cole slaw that came with it was fantastic too. I also had the smoked Old Fashioned to drink & it was amazing. Give it a try if you like a smoky, woody whisky. *Chefs kiss*
Food and drinks are amazing! However I give it 4 stars because every time I go either I have a waitress that has a bad attitude, or a waitress that is practically non existent to the point I have to leave my table and go to the bar to order a drink. The quality of food and drinks are 5 star for sure. The staff I would give a big fat ZERO
Great atmosphere and staff was very friendly. The cocktail menu was intriguing, I tried 2 different ones and both were very good. The cons are food was terrible, I hardly ate any of it. And my friend Alicia said the bathroom was freezing cold. I'm not sure if the furnace was out or what but it was probably a just that day thing.Overall great place for drinks but eat before you come.
Food was delicious, portions were good and flavor was awesome! Zip sauce for steak really good! Had a nice evening with my two kids.
I will never return after the service I got tonight. My table kept asking for things repeatedly because the waitress kept forgetting. The coffee tasted burnt, the appetizers were placed in excess by the waitress. The kitchen closed earlier than what was posted on the door. They ran out of a few popular dishes by 9pm. The beef tips appetizer was good. I’d rather visit a different location for better service.
The greeter at the front door was adorably kind and sat us right away . The waistaff, although crazy busy, was very helpful and promt checking on us regularly, and the food was amazing . fun atmosphere and cold beer with a great selection . it was my first time there out of a recommendation, and it definitely will not be my last even if it is an hour away . Thank you for the great service
