Wow we dined and me and my two sisters and I have to tell you from the beginning to the end we ordered 5 entrees it just was great everything fresh and authentic KP1, KP2,KP4 plus the KP6 all was great will definitely be back already recommended this place to 5 people already.
Wow, Wow and Wow. I haven't been to a Thai food restaurant in easily 30 years. I had a very bad experience then and was not able to overcome it until now. My son has been asking to try and he finally talked me in to it. My wife found Amy's and what a hidden gem. It's a smaller place (slightly bigger than the two or three table asian style takeout look of others.) It has a clean, fresh but not over done look, which I loved. Now to the best part. The food was absolutely, fantastically, awesome. Yes it was good enough to get a new word combo. The hot and sour soup that comes with the meal was very good and had a nice spicy warmth but not super spicy. I really don't prefer spicy foods although TUMS stock goes up if I do. Our main dishes were all fresh, hot (like just off the burner hot) and loaded with flavor. We were all able to get the spice level we wanted with no surprises. It seems lately like all of the Chinese places are becoming bland and flat with their flavors. Amy's did not have that problem at all. It is a little high price wise, but the food was well worth the cost. Checkout the pictures which show my Beef Pad Sew Ew, my wife's Pork Drunken Noodles, and our son's Pork Gang Gai (Red Curry)(medium spicy crazy kid.) If you love Thai food I'm betting you will love Amy's.
Man, what delicious authentic Thai food! Unbelievably great eats. Try the Southern noodle dish, outstanding! Family owned and ran (the mom prepares the food, the dad cooks, for every dish)! A+ all the way.
We get this once, sometimes twice a week! The fried rice, orange chicken and chicken pad Thai are the best I’ve ever had. You won’t be disappointed, I promise.We always have left overs with the generous portion sizes too.Amazingly friendly, hard working staff and owner!Thank you so much, see you next time ❤️
We heard so many good things about this place. We finally remembered to try them out. Everything was delicious and large portions. We have been back already few times. It has become one of our favorites. Crab Rangoon,chicken pad Thai, honey chicken all were great.
I Love this Place they are very generous owners always giving free stuff to people. not only that they cook very delicious and with a passion coming from someone that tries Thai or Chinese restaurants from all over town more then 10 and by far my number one is Amy's Thai. My son is 5 and he saids I want to eat this food all day and my 10 year old saids that this is his favorite restaurant and he use to eat alot from Panda express only. May God bless this restaurant with so many costumers and abundance for a restaurant that shows kindness and loves to cook for others to enjoy and eat.
Service is amazing, the quality is superb and my only complaint is that you don’t have a second location closer to me in Royal Oak. Seems like a family place which always makes me happy.I was thinking about my meal hours afterwards.Had curry fried rice and Tom Kai Gai soup which was just WOW!Thanks guys
This is my second time here BEST Thai food I’ve ever had, the chicken actually taste like chicken and not mush like 99.9% of Chinese/Thai restaurants. The orange chicken is amazing , also you don’t get that sick feeling after eating either, there’s a reason this place has 5 stars!!? very clean and great food
The only good thing about this place was the large portions. HOWEVER, the beef was chewy like it was boiled, food was bland (no salt) and the spice level was a joke. I asked for hot and it was more like mild +. Very small amount of meat and veggies. Rice overkill!
We moved here 4 months ago and this was the third and last Thai restaurant we've tried in the area. We keep coming back because we know we won't be disappointed. Large portions too which is great because we each get 2 meals out of the order which makes it worth the cost. So glad we found this place!
