Place says they have halal meat but it's cooked on the same grill as the pork, so that isn't halal, false advertising. It would've took a simple Google search to find out what is and isn't halal.Update: Hello Amigos Street Tacos, I received my information from a call to your restaurant, where the person answering the phone told me that the meats are cooked on the same grill. I am just speechless. I can not tell you enough, on how good this food is. I am from California, and coming from California nothing beats California taco. This place has the best taco like California, and omg I been searching for an authentic Mexican cuisine. I ordered almost every main dishes from the menu, not only it was so delicious each dish had a different taste. Hand on, this is one of the best taco place I been to in Michigan. I am a foodie, and I love eating all type of food. All in all I give it ??. Must try it out or else you will miss out.
Hands down, this is the best spot to get burritos east of LA! They essentially reared my 25-year-old son. About 12 years ago, he relocated to Michigan. We come here every time I visit him in Shelby Township. This time, I'll be accompanied by my granddaughter and daughter-in-law. My grand-daughter was held by a lady who came out from behind the counter as if they knew each other. Such a nice young lady who is warm and open. It was ideal. Then came the music; we love to dance! We adore this location!
Not sure if today was just a bad day, or if people only take the time to leave good reviews, but I am highly disappointed and extremely underwhelmed. I ordered from Amigos Street tacos via Grubhub maybe 2 hrs ago. Food came on time but this has to be the worst Mexican food I have ever had. The ground beef tacos were insanely extra extra greasy. The chicken quesadillas were super greasy, I ordered 3 of them. All inedible. The only thing I was able to eat was the carne asada loaded fries. They were decent. Not good but decent. So basically I wasted almost $50 bucks of the $60 I spent. My kids refused to eat it. Amigos Street tacos will never get the opportunity to disappoint me like this again.

Every time I visit him in Shelby Township, we come here. This time, with my grand-daughter and daughter-in-law in tow. The lady came from behind the counter to hold my grand-daughter - it was if they knew each other. Such a warm and welcoming, lovely young lady. It was perfect. Then the music came on, we Love to dance! We love this place!
I ordered last night thru Grubhub. The majority of the food was inedible. Never eaten food so greasy in my life. I see they normally get decent reviews but my personal experience was awful. I spent $60 bucks and could only eat one of the many things I ordered. Highly disappointed.
First time. Shocked how good the food was. Family owned and real friendly. Can't believe it's so close to home. Going to be a regular.

Used to love them! $2 tacos were on point, definitely 4 stars. Then they increased prices which was understandable but they started hiring help….the tacos got greasier and the food got sloppy. I always try tip even on carry out and have definitely giving some extra to these guys at times. The last time I was there, I was in a hurry and needed the rest of my cash for something later that day and only purchased 2 tacos ($5) I was given attitude with a comment under the cashiers breathe about my not tipping with a real condescending “thanks a lot” as I turned to leave. Haven’t been back since…and stopped recommended them
