Had reservation for a large group..Was not conveniently set up.Fly in my soup and the waitress couldn't understand that I lost my appetite and wanted to cancel my meal. No apology. No manager came out to speak to me.Another member of the group asked for fried noodles and the waitress said "No.Too expensive"They weren't asking for free noodles they were trying to order them. Apparently the waitresses know what customers can and can't afford.
Just called this restaurant. The lady who answered the phone was very rude. I asked if they had a delivery service because there site on line says that they do. She said no. I tried to explain that her site says they deliver but before I could finish my sentence she cut me off. I have never eaten here and I never will. I don’t give my money to people that are rude. I felt like everyone deserved to know how unprofessional they are and when in the service industry with Aton of competition maybe being polite should be a priority.
Decent lunch. Courteous service. Gen. Tso Chicken was very crispy with flavorful white meat, but the sauce was a little bland. Hot and sour soup was scalding hot, so I had to wait until halfway through the entree to let it cool enough to eat, but it was well seasoned. Egg roll had shrimp, which was a nice surprise. Substituting hot/sour for egg drop was $3.95 extra, which seemed like a little much, but the soup was excellent.
This place is truly a gem in St. Clair Shores. The food is delicious and the owner Kim is the nicest, sweetest lady. They have the best almond chicken and wonton soup. The cream cheese wontons are delicious as well!!!
Today March 30,2022 at 8:30 pm I do not recommend anyone to place an order with them 30 min before closing time I mean I am absolutely disappointed I have never experienced this before from them I am assuming there’s a new cook or whatever but everything listed below has been over cooked and fried too hard I asked for white rice I received brown ? my egg roll is burnt and overly cooked my almond chicken is fried way too hard I honestly don’t appreciate them charging regular price for this once you guys open up I want my money backMy whole family was dissatisfied with their orders as well won’t be spending my hard earned money here anymore
I'm so glad I found Wong's Garden Chinese Food! omg, it is so hard to find superior Chinese food. The Dine-In service is a huge plus! I've eaten at three other Chinese restaurants on Harper between St Clair Shoes & Clinton Twp, and those were awful - could not eat the food.Wong's Garden has fresh, authentic and quality food. I had the Beef Lo-Mein. Delicious! I enjoyed the hearty Lo-Mein noodles , and it was not too soupy. The spices do not overpower all the other flavors. Spiced perfectly. And I did not detect any unpleasant & indiscernible aromas that ruin my meal before I can eat one bite.I was with a party of six, and every single one of us were impressed. Next time I'm ordering the Almond Chicken, that looked amazing too. To Wong's Garden owner: Please don't ever let your quality lag behind like other Chinese restaurants around you.
Today was my first time here. It was nice finding a Chinese restaurant that has an open dining room as most around here seem to have stayed with take-out and delivery only. I had lunch and specials were almost all around 9 bucks and it came with hot tea, soup, egg roll, chicken fried rice, the entree. Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. The staff was friendly and provided speedy service. I am definitely coming back!
The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.. was talked to and treated extremely rude throughout the entire process.. The lady taking our order basically rushed us off the phone, treated us like she did not want to take our order… then didn’t take our name.. then hung up the phone on us after being rude the entire time… all we wanted was to leave a name so we could pick our order up…. it is not the general publics problem if someone doesn’t want to be at work.. the fact she basically wouldn’t take our order makes us never want to eat at this establishment again.. FIRE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT WANT WORK!
I really wish I could give them zero star. The most disgusting food!!! I ordered Shrimp vegtable lomein. First off the used thread for noodles, the vegetables weren't crooked, looked like the entire dish was dipped in dish water without the suds. The container burst and out pours plastic bag full of this cloudy liquid. ?? I was ticked!!!???$%@&!%.I videoed the contents, called them and burnt rubber taking it back. I can't see how people eat this unless they don't know the taste of authentic Chinese foods. #NEVERAGAIN!!!
First and last time ever ordering from here ! Got two dinners and soup paid. 31.96$ and me and my husband both got sick ! Chicken was soggy for the sesame chicken the almond chicken was to greasy the fried rice looked like light brown rice absolutely gross ? Also got shrimp in the egg rolls which I’m pregnant and can’t eat
