As the downtown Detroit restaurant the owners keep fresh Greek staple dishes on the menu and a staple friendly staff that withstands the work force ups and downs. This restaurant offers spacious patio spaces, weather permitting, outdoors. Usually not crowded, no wait to be seated. A safe bet for a nice, relaxed, informal restaurant outing.
Service was OK! Until 4 of us out of 5 dining there. Had sent are meals back because they were cold. And had to send back again. They wanted to know if we wanted them microwaved or remade. I said remade.. Well after the 2nd time we just gave up. The manager came over and asked if she could give us a salad. We said no were good. It was the weirdest, uncomfortable Situation at a restaurant that I've experienced in awhile. She kept asking what do you want, what, yowant. I certainly didn't want a salad. And the portion sizes a gyro are very small. Not going back. And the waitress after that mess was rude.
This is my favorite place to eat. Either location. Both are devine. I've never had a bad experience in the dozens of times I've visited.Yuvetsake #1 all time favorite I get it 98% of my visits. The meat is so tender it falls apart without every being crumbling or dry. The tomato sauce is literally nectar from the gods themselvesI'll keep coming back over and over. Anytime I can find an excuse.
The service was great! The food is always amazing. I went after my small wedding ceremony to celebrate, and they were great at accommodating!
Delicious Greek salad and lamb! I would have missed this place if the Irish bar was open. But so much better. The lamb is delicious. Great atmosphere and servers!
First time visit. Couldn't.be happier. Our waitress, of Albanian descent, not only was delightful but engaging. Found out her name was Brunilda. Food was beyond expectations. A must for authentic Greek cuisine and wine.
Nopa! ? This is not the restaurant it was a year ago or even two years ago. Food quality is poor. Presentation, taste, and portions just awful. Recipes far from the classics that we know and love. Makes me wonder if the sister restaurant downtown has become like this? (Hope not.) Greek bread cut thin and brought to the table cold. Entrees had to be sent back because they were cold-lukewarm. Waitperson was fleeting and rude. (Bus boy was attentive, customer-oriented, and should have her job.)This was a truly disappointing and extremely expensive and an altogether awful meal. You can get better Greek food at ANY ❤ Leo's location or Kouzina in Royal Oak. Their Greek food is authentic.⚡Dionysus would not be pleased with Pegasus in SCS.? Don't be deceived by cropped pics -- portions were smaller than they have ever been.
We came for dinner on a weekend night. The service was very good. The shrimp, Greek trio and salads were good. The pastitsio was ok and the green beans and rice were also good. The tiramisu and coffee were excellent. We haven't been here in a long time and were leery based on other reviews. Our experience was nothing like the others. For party of 4 with 2 coffees and dessert it was 120$, higher end of moderate these days. I'd revisit again. OPA!!!!
giving a low rating not because of food but because my purse stolen last night and reaction from owner and lack of security. owner said cameras only pointed at cash registers !!! so no video evidence of any type of crime will be recorded for patrons ?!?!?!? he said police only respond if not busy.(did make a report at station in person shortly after) my purse hanging on chair, customer behind "bumped" mine when leaving so obviously thats when theft occurred. manager also could have offered to check if they paid with credit card to supply police with that info but did not. was just very nonchalant in general !!!! waitress more concerned and upset than he was !!! we drove and hour and a half to celebrate my husbands birthday and daughter in laws birthday and this is what we got !!!!!! dont think we will be back!!!!
Probably one of the worst restaurants I ever had the misfortune to go to in my entire existence.I went here with my dad for his birthday, and it looked promising. We sat down, and had to wait 5 minutes for a menu. A menu, really? The waitress was rude, uncanny, and just all-around unprofessional. It took her 20 minutes to bring my dad and me our drink. Now, I was about to walk out and take my dad somewhere else, shame we didn't, and she finally came back with our drinks. We ordered, and then got our food, and literally never saw her again. At all. Only for when she gave us the bill, or seeing her just talk to other employees, and just standing around doing nothing.. The food was sub-par, and definitely not worth mentioning. I would say it was the equivalent of re heated fast food. My dad's birthday dinner was ruined, and that's the thing that ticked me off. Please, don't waste your money at this establishment, and if you do, be ready not to return.
