We were there for a funeral luncheon. The food was very good and the Guinness was the best I've had since visiting Ireland. Too many bars seem incapable of serving Guinness properly and the taste suffers.
Nice atmosphere, nice staff and very friendly.. However, the food was ok.. They didn’t have the “Peach bourbon Salmon” available; it’s new on the menu. So I had to settle for the Lobster Artichoke salmon.. Salmon was basic nothing special and the cream sauce on top of the salmon was over powering with very little lobster on top.. It wasn’t stuffed at all. The food is very basic, just food.. Because everything else was good, my expectation of the food was very high and I wasn’t impressed at all. Great place for good drinks, good vibes and atmosphere.. Try something else besides the non stuffed salmon..
The food was really good, we got fish and chips and the smokehouse burger which was all amazing! The fries are also the perfect kind of crunchy and golden. If this were just a food review, it would have been 5 stars 100%. However, our server Danielle was absolutely horrible. She had a major attitude and was rude to our whole table. While my boyfriend's mother was ordering Danielle snapped at her and said to me "well while she's trying to figure out what she wants, what do you want? I don't have time for this." Which is extremely unacceptable. When we got our food I asked for more napkins, lemons and ketchup, then she brings those back and I asked if she could bring more napkins, and my boyfriend's grandma didn't get sour cream and butter for her baked potato (although she asked for it in the begining), and she snaps again, rolls her eyes, and said with an attitude "is there ANYTHING else I can get while I'm at your table!?"With her attitude and poor service we will not be coming back. I can understand being busy/slammed, but that does not give anyone the right to be extremely rude to customers.
This place is so freaking good. My husband and I have been a few times, and we love it. The spinach and artichoke dip is out of this world. The seafood risotto and shepherd’s pie were delicious. Also, the frog legs are to die for. If anyone says the food isn't good, they don't like flavor and should stick to eating their saltines.
The one pound perch dinner is wonderful, lightly breaded and the options you have as sides makes healthier eating possible.
Everyone seems to know about the prime rib Mondays but has anyone tried the chicken fingers off the kids menu? Wow. I devoured my daughter’s meal and had to order another.
A good friend of ours recommended we meet here for dinner. My mom recommended the fish and chips. I guess their known for that. But I wanted something both me and my Mr. Could split so we both had a amazing salad with ? Blu Cheese dressing and lobster stuffed salmon with a pesto sauce with mashed red skin potatoes. It really was actually really good ?
It was a pleasure being introduced to the local bar patrons and the positive happy environment. Gladly would recommend even for the local entertainment. After 6 years of sobriety you start to notice the little things in life, family, friends, and laughter!
We had fish and chips and walleyeBoth were very good.We also had appetizers that were great especially the artichoke dip with pita points. We will definitely be back.
Great food and great service. I got the French Dip, unbelievable. My one friend got the Perch Dinner, said it was excellent and my other buddy had the Ruben and loved it. So 3 out of 3
