Very nice diner style restaurant with cool decor on the walls. The food was great and reasonably priced although seeming to be a bit on the high side but everybody does these days. Got to pay for that fancy bathroom lol. Our server was fantastic super nice and attentive. They weren't very busy when we went for dinner at 6:30 on a Monday. One of the cleanest places I have been to in a while, and by clean I mean there was no dust in the molding on the walls even so they must really clean this place and take pride in that. Will definitely come back sometime.
We enjoyed our lunch the soup was delicious as well as the sandwich. Very friendly staff with reasonable prices for good pastrami and corned beef.
This place has some really great food and good service. I have never had an M issue with an order or bad food. Highly recommend!
I don't know what has happened to this place in the past couple of years… Lots of pre-packaged and frozen items now...The last time I paid $12 for half a sandwich and a bowl of soup and the sandwich was very skimpy on meat! This time I ordered the chicken cutlets thinking I'm going to get a nice breaded chicken cutlet with real mashed potatoes and when they deliver it to me it's frozen ground processed chicken patties and instant mashed potatoes! The coleslaw was so bland you couldn't even taste it! The only thing I will go to this restaurant for now is there tempura battered fried vegetables, best I have ever had! Zucchini, cauliflower, mushrooms are fresh and prepared to order! Seriously mind blowing! And they usually have five or six different scratch made soups which are fantastic! A few years ago I gave them a five star rating! But I'm sad to say things have gone downhill… I will try again, but eating out is so expensive right now it truly is a treat when we can afford it! We had The frozen chicken cutlet dinner (which came with fake mashed potatoes and coleslaw) And my friend had Perch (which came with baked potato and coleslaw). We also ordered the fried vegetable appetizer and skipped beverages and dessert and our total was $50 with tax and tip! That is a lot of money for food that you were not satisfied with…
Sarah was a great waitress. As crowded & as busy as it was on St. Paddy's Day- she had it all under control. She didn't miss a beat.My turkey bacon club was THE BEST! OH MAN, don't let me forget MY OTHER FAVORITE TASTE OF STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE while eating my meal.YOU CANNOT RESIST!
We love NY deli and have tried to get there by 7 so that everyone is not cleaning while we are eating. Tonight they were vacuuming at 7:30 pm and there were still about 4/5 tables. They are very efficient but every time you put your fork down someone is asking if you are done to clear the table. My only complaint is it appears they are trying to rush you out.
The wing dings were very fatty and the deep fried cauliflower tasted frozen. Everything else was good.
Great service and food! Really enjoyed ourselves. I definitely will be visiting again!
Usually I don't leave reviews, but I have to in this case...Got take out, didn't interact with staff so don't know about that.So first thing is in the area of the menu for burgers and sandwiches the text does not make it clear that you are paying for or what exactly you are paying. So that's the first bit that ties into the rest. The answer is that you are paying the price listed under the sandwich for nothing else but that particular sandwich. I assume you are paying $4 more for coleslaw and fries or $5 more for about 6 onion rings.I've eaten there twice. Got the same thing both times. Didn't see the price the first time. The first time the mix of ingredients was such that while the burger patty was good, something was overpowering it which made it not as good. This second time whatever that issue was was dealt with so the Cheeseburger was good. The reason I'm giving a 1 star is because the price is ridiculous to such an extent and it is somewhat hidden by the menu, because no one would ever guess a hamburger of the normal size with nothing else to go with it is $10 and certainly not one smaller than a whopper, without salad, without fries. It's good. It's about a standard 1/4 pounder, but it is far too expensive for what it is.It's fine to take pride in good work and charge a little extra, (which a bad business practice btw if you don't have to) but it's a whole other story when you're charging double price.so tldr:Food is double the price of what is normal.Take out menu is unclear which hides this fact.Good and seemingly improving chef/cook/ingredients/recipe.
My family and I love this place. Every time we are in we get excellent service and awesome food. We went again tonight as a new family of 6 and had a very enjoyable time. Some of our go to’s are any style Rueben and the fish and chips. We always get a couple different soups to share and we haven’t found any to be less than fantastic.
