After reading that the new MC location had vegan options I had to try it. We stopped in there on the fly Saturday evening and I'm so glad we did. Sent the Husband in for a vegan pizza and the owner was so friendly and helpful. Hearing she too eats plant based was such positive because that means they get how vegans look for their food to be prepared. We will definitely be back!!
Just finished our meal- we got a cheese bread, everything pizza and Italian sandwich! Hands down the best pizza etc we have had in awhile! Ranch is also pretty awesome! Highly recommend ordering here! We will be back again and again
1st time having Johnny Z's tonight! We had a square meat lovers and a round traditional pepperoni and cheese! We were a house divided on which one we liked better. Both were great! Square is crunchy like we like and the round had a very old fashion traditional flavor that we loved! We picked it up, the inside had a very nice and welcoming vibe! The man working the counter was great! He wished me Happy Mother's Day and said God Bless ? ❤️ We will be back!!!
1st time here. We wanted to try something new as the regular pizza places were just gross (jets & hungry howies). We got 2 large pizzas, (round & square) cheese bread & salad. Pizza was amazing, bread was amazing, loved the garlic cream cheese dipping sauce! Salad was ok nothing special, could of used more meat & cheese. I will be a regular here!
The food is amazing !! We had the bbq Chicken pizza and cheese bread with the cream cheese sauce. OMG it was out of this world. Also the customer service is top notch. Delicious food and they make you feel like family. Seriously if I could give them a million stars I would. Wonderful people and amazing fresh food.
Metro Detroit has a lot of pizza options but Johnny Z’s really impressed me. I tried their pizza for the first time today and every part of it was right (SAUCE, cheese, bread, and generous on the toppings). I was pleasantly surprised to see they keep Faygo in the cooler so I went with the Rock n’ Rye. The salad was fresh and ranch dressing was on point as well. Keep up the great work, Johnny Z’s.
This place caused me to give up on all other pizza's nobody is even close to what they are bringing to the table. The dill pickle pizza is inventive and mind blowing. Tried a few others, cheeseburger, BLT, BBQ chicken and I am a loyal fan. Staff is always super friendly courteous and kind. I would give 6 stars if I could.
Really good Detroit style pizza, and priced better than many other Detroit style pizzerias in the area.
Had a terrible experience I keep calling to talk to a manager no one’s calls back. The toast take out app is terrible it over charged me and apparently neither Johnny zs or toast take out will do anything about it. Will never order from there again it’s not worth the $72 they charged me . I wish someone would call me back and make it right but so far it has not happened. Very disappointed. Loved them until this happened.
