This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. We ordered a large square pizza with pepperoni tonight and a cheesy bread with ranch (03-05-2022). The pizza had no pepperoni on it and wasn't even properly sliced. I had to slice it at home. The ranch was sour and tasted awful. The pizza was so-so and the cheesy bread was just ok. $23 wasted on bad food!
Oh my deliciousness! As I was visiting the area, I was craving some Detroit-Style Pizza . Places such as Buddy's have become too expensive, so I gave this place a try for the first time. Not only did they make a pizza with all the hallmark indicators of a true Detroit-style pizza, they went above and beyond on this special request: I had my dog in the car and asked if they could throw a meatball or two in a cup. I informed them that I would happily pay for them. The employee was generous, he gave me 4, and didn't charge for them! I hope he doesn't get in trouble by the owner, because that act brought him a customer for life, this review, and me telling others about this gem of a place!
Not bad, little salty. But in general a very good pizza. Was unfortunate there was only two people working in their young twenties when I went to pick up my order. They were definitely overwhelmed, but I was patient. I think the business would do better if they had some older, more experienced people overseeing the Young folks.. Leaving the responsibility to workers in their young twenties seems a bit much. J
I am a big fan of small indi pizza places. We have historically gotten our pizza from another local long time favorite but once in a while you want to see what's out there right? See if yours is still number 1. So we were thinking a different pie might be good. We tried ordering on line, I REALLY like the online ordering app. You can order pizza any way you like even down to what goes on which half. However they are not doing on line ordering currently for some reason. The prices are a little above average for a pie but the pie is worth it IMO.The pizza (we got a veggie and a meat pizza) was very good with a fine compliment of toppings, sauce, cheese, etc. The crust options were more than adequate and the crust itself was perfectly crispy and not overdone. The toppings were cooked very well. The sauce is a little acidic for my taste but overall we really enjoyed our pies. We will probably stay with our other pie place mainly for the sauce, and they do all the other stuff really well. BUT, we will definitely be back to Detroit Style Pizza.
This place is the real deal Detroit all the way. The pizza was awesome, the edges were super crispy and the flavors were amazing. This was one of my favorite Detroit style pizzas. If there was one flavor I did not like it was their MARGHERITA, but the rest were top notch. The cheese bread was also Detroit style and fantastic. Wish them the best, great pizza.
Placed an order online at like 6pm on a Wednesday (dinner rush). I got a call 30 minutes later that my delivery would be late by a measley 15 minutes. I was blown away by that level of customer service. On top of that the pizza cheese sticks and antipasto salad were delicious and made with care.For those of you who don't already know about this place, it is the best in town. 5 stars doesn't do it enough justice.
When they are consistent, they make excellent pizza. The Tangy BBQ Chicken pizza is a must have - their bbq sauce with the roasted garlic is a great combo! However, they can sometimes be skimpy with their toppings and cheese. Today was a good day and 3 pieces of pizza easily had me stuffed. On skimpy days, it takes 5 pieces. Prices are on the higher side but this is due to the high quality of their ingredients. If they were more consistent, I would order from them more often.
Great customer service. Pizza was delicious. My family of 5, especially my picky teenagers, enjoyed it.?Highly recommend them.
Never order again on Halloween. We ordered at 4 p.m., and told an hour. It turned into 1 1/2 hour wait. Pizza was pretty good, cheese bread was bland
