Beautiful banquet facilities. Could use some updating. Worst polenta I've ever had. Polenta is supposed to be amazing. Sorry but it was awful. Not edible

Great playscape. A little dirty but great pirate theme with maps and a globe. The library does reading programs in the summer here.
The person the schedules the event never returns your call and once she does she don't keep the appointment time.

The voting is fully open, though I am concerned; not everyones using the paper dividers. The voting tables are nowhere to be found. However, my only qualm was that a guy from precinct 7 held up the line. I feel like they couldve figured that out faster. If you are from Precinct 12 (i am a niner) and see the line come back later because it was so far out the door when I strolled past
We went to the haunted house created by the cub scouts . It was safe and enjoyable
Brides beware! I had requested a walkthrough of the building as a possible wedding venue and was completely strung along. Everything was handled so unprofessionally! When I reached out they scheduled me a month out for the walk through, and only on the night before the appointment I received a text from Holly to reschedule for the day after. No reason was given but I was fine to reschedule. It was a little inconvenient as I had to rearrange plans with work and client meetings and see if my mom was still able to join me but it all worked out. BUT then on the day of the rescheduled appointment I was on my way to the venue, using my GPS to get there (I live about an hour away) and I was in a bit of a time crunch given the need to reschedule with work...when I arrived at the venue the doors are locked and the security alarm is going off. A police car rolls up and asks what is going on, and my mom and I tell him I have no clue and that we are here for our scheduled appointment. He said he would go check in the back and that it might have been an employee opening the building for our appointment. He rolls around back and I proceed to call Holly to ask if we were at the right door to meet for our appointment. She abruptly asks “did you get my texts and email!?” I was a taken aback by her attitude and told her “no, I hadn’t, I was driving here” she explained that she texted me today to cancel again! I was so confused, and quickly checked my email, I received NOTHING, and then looked at my texts and saw that while I was driving, ONLY 15 minutes BEFORE the rescheduled appointment she had texted me to reschedule AGAIN for the next day. She explained it had something to do with the health inspector, which was also a huge red flag! I asked her if she could meet us now while we are here and she said she had just left the building. She didn’t even have the courtesy to CALL me on the day of to make sure I had received the message OR stay to tell me in person at the scheduled time. What a huge inconvenience and big waste of time! At this point the cop had returned to the front and said he didn’t see anyone in the back and everything appeared locked up and he left. Honestly, the cop was the most pleasant part of the experience. It was so infuriating being so disrespected and disappointed that I decided I did not want to schedule the appointment for a THIRD time with Holly. If this is how they handle the walkthrough I can only imagine was a mess they could make while organizing a wedding. If I could give zero stars I would! The building looked dirty and neglected. Stay away! And avoid working with Holly if possible, she is not professional, organized, or respectful, and definitely did NOT foster a happy and joyful wedding experience. I truly hope this helps a future bride make a better decision on venue location!
