I hadn't been here since before the pandemic and I quickly realized what I had missed. The lasagna was flavorful and filling, the lemon cake was lighter than air, and the service was top notch. Don't be deterred by the hours of operation and the need to make a reservation. If you have not been to Vic's lately, what the hell are you waiting for?
Dinner was fabulous... Everyone enjoyed their dinner meat sauce was great.. Pork chops.. Potatoes were great soup and salad great .I think they said lick the bowl.....
Ordered calamari and garlic bread with mozzarella and tomatoes added as appetizers, both slapped so hard it wasn't even funny.Fettuccini noodles tossed in olive oil and garlic with mushrooms added as my main course, each bite made me want to cry and punch someone simultaneously it was just that good.Carrot cake made me strongly desire a glass of milkDrove home with my belt one notch looser than when I arrived....when I got home it was nap time.Quality is beyond expectationsHighly recommend anyone try this place
Great service and incredible food. Can’t wait to get back.
Some of the dishes are pricey, but the quality is apparent as soon as you take your first bite. I ordered the lobster ravioli, they were stuffed with delicious lump lobster meat and baked in a delicious alfredo sauce. I also tried the roasted pork chops and spaghetti with meatballs, all of which were reasonably priced. Everything was prepared perfectly, came out quickly and service was top notch.
Absolutely amazing. Great service. My wife loved her Veal Parm and spaghetti. I had the fabulous Lasagna. We will go back.
Very disappointed by the food.My cannaloni was served cold and flavorless. Kim our server was very polite as busy as it was.my salad, and the bread were the best part of the meal.My wife's BBQ ribs were very tender, the French fries were crinkle fries out of a bag.Prices on the food are fair portion size is ok.I've heard so many positive things about this place, not worth making a reservation in my opinion.Again didn't get the wow factor I was looking for.For a place calling themselves authentic Italian cuisine, not true. This isn't cuisine.Restaurant was clean, outside lot was.Maybe they should try taking a trip to Europe were the best natural ingredients are used. Also they were out of many things, potatoes and trying to get people to eat the coleslaw. The cook staff was tendorizing the meat it the kitchen, I had to laugh ? to myself. It was 3 hard smacks then the 1970s music. There is much better Italian food out there. At my mom and dad's next door neighbors house on lake shore drive in Grosse Pointe Shores Michigan.
The staff was just so kind to us. They were able to fit us in in such a short notice. Food and housemate desert was fantastic. Great place for a family meal.
An intimate diner with a great cooking team! The wait staff is very professional and treat you like a five star restaurant. Great food and service.
We love this place. It's not frozen re heated food. It's made fresh daily. The owner Vic told us that himself. The wine selection is great. Food is wonderful, staff is awesome. The ambiance is so cute and old school. You just really feel at home here. I can't sat enough about this place. A little gem forsure!
