Ate here tonight and our food was great and our waitress and the manager were both awesome! Will definately be back!
Everything was good. Had to ask for my side salad, my guests both got their soup immediately after placing our orders. Do not like that my bill appears on a little computer screen at the table. It was SO DIRTY I hated to touch it. Even if there wasn’t COVID to be concerned about it was gross. Service a little slow, however only saw one waitress and a trainer working during our visit. We were all very happy with our meals.
This place has gone way down hill in the past year. Both curbside and dine in. Curbside… my child ordered chicken tenders and fries. There was literally 2 fries in his box. 2 little Lonely fries. Dine in… always a wait for no reason once so ever. Over an hour wait, hardly any customers in the building, plenty of staff. Not sure why or what is going on. Southgate, you stink. Get better.
I love Chili's and I particularly love the Cajun Chicken Pasta it's my meal of choice and im repetitive but also this menu item is honestly that good. However this location is closer to where I live now but I was previously closer to the Canton location I was deeply sorrowed to not go there anymore. I have given this restaurant location in Trenton a good try I've had this meal a handful of times and each time the quality has gotten progressively worse but they really upped the ante this time. 3 pieces of green onion and 4 bits of tomato and mostly end scraps of chicken plopped onto the middle of a disgusting sea of sauce. They really tried. It was abundantly clear that they ran out and thought they could play with my emotions and intelligence by submerging my food to hide the low volume of actual food. Have you ever made pasta and the use of heavy sauce saturates it to the point it all take like nothing? Yes. That was the first and last bite I took. Disgusting. They ran out of the tomatoes and green onion and chicken and boiled limp noodles throwing them in a sea of sauce. I'm 32 weeks pregnant and not having any of it. I had to send my poor boyfriend back to the restaurant in the pouring rain after he's just gotten home. I don't care how busy you are it's a luxury for us to eat out these days and that isn't what I paid for. I can eat baked chicken, green onion, and tomato scraps with flavorless noodles at home for free. Then they had my boyfriend tied up because their 'card reader wasn't working' and we were using the rest of a gift card from Christmas and cash at check out. Stop messing with this dish. You do not know how to make it and it shows.
During covid there were less tables available and less of a wait. Ever since though, service here has gone down hill. Long waits for no reason as the servers are in the back joking around. Our waitress/bartender was great though she made our drinks amazing. Our chips and salsa didn't come out until after our meal though.
Waitress was great, 5 stars for her. The General Manager was unprofessional and rude. Their reader charged me twice and the GM was going to try to make me pay a third time even after showing him the money was taken from my account. Luckily I had the receipt in my email as additional proof so his tune changed.
Horrible will never return nothing good happened here zero stars for management and server. We had 2 main entress with hair in them the first time was right as they brought my wife food out. Ok remover that cost I'm ok with that. Now the second time now in my daughters food. Now me and my wife aren't happy it this point so I asked the sever Maya where's the manager we've waiting almost 20 minutes hee reply he's busy and I can't keep going back there to get him. I said we'll were having a major issue here and j feel you and the Manger are very unpleasant and unprofessional at this point I need my entire bill comp... her reply well you ate you're food (my dish was fine) one kid didn't eat at all the other 3 ate less than have wife didn't eat all. So I ask her what would she do in this situation... her words well I'd just pay amd go about my day. (Really) Now finally tye store manager comes out I explained to him the issues yes it was more than just hair in food. But this was our second biggest issue the main issue is how unprofessional both mangers were and the sever were at handling our issues. Will never return to this place again
Just wanted to thank Bryan Barnes and his staff tonight which was short-handed... He knocked it out of the park! You couldn't see one iota of stress in this man face! He was training someone and still doing an excellent job being the manager on duty, trainer, and our server.Chili's needs more employees like this gentleman! Thank you Bryan You are a true rock star!!
The restaurant was practically empty when we arrived. The manager had the hostess go ask a server if she could take a table, the hostess came back and said the server said no. It was 730 on a Saturday night. What server doesn't want to take a table and make money???? The food came out cold. We ordered endless chips and salsa and when we asked for a refill they said they were out of salsa. My only kudo is a for the bartender for the bartender who took our order. She was nice.
Our carry out order was ten minutes late and the food was luke warm and was sloppily placed in the carry out containers. Some food items were replaced with other food items that were not even ordered. How hard is it to pour a bowl of soup? Some items were also missing. We tried calling to get a partial refund and no one answered the phone, despite multiple calls. Avoid this restaurant at all costs, it’s obvious it no longer has the basic functions to operate in any kind of capacity. Never again.
