I am a regular at this location. When I want a burger this is where I go and have never been disappointed up until the last two visits. 2 weeks ago I placed my original order, which is a cheese burger with onion rings. The burger was cold and dry and the onion rings were soggy. I let that go. Today I pulled in, it took a minute for the employee to speak over the speaker, which didn't bother me as I was waiting for my daughter to send me her order via text so I asked for a minute. The employee gave me a minute,came back and I explained I needed one more second as I was getting my daughters order on the phone. I even stated there wasn't ANYONE BEHIND ME (so I knew I was safe and not holding up the line). The employee did not say a word, I could see her turn and talk to someone and then she proceeded to tell me her MANAGER said I had to pull to the side because she just lost a customer!! I proceeded to reply with, "your manager is wrong, there isn't anyone behind me and I will now take my business elsewhere"! I am a small business owner in the Southgate community and I can honestly say, the BEST advertising comes from "word of mouth"! I have been going to this location since my kids were young (over 30 years). I feel like they have lost their touch with customer service as well as their quality of food. And to think I used to tell people if they want a great burger hit A&W on Eureka!! NOT ANYMORE!! ✌?✌?✌?
If I could give zero stars I would this place is NEVER OPEN ...and when they are they have rude people working there.
Just a heads up that the google times are wrong. Google says they open at 10:30 on Fridays. When I arrived the sign said 10:45…fair enough. I went back at about 10:50 and no one answered at the speaker. I called just to see when they would open because I could see that employees were there, and by the time they finally answered they told me that nothing was fired up and they just walked into the building. Everyone is short staffed, I’m not annoyed about that and get it. If an opener doesn’t show up, I can’t blame the people that did. But people were inside the building. At least have the courtesy to go over the speaker and let the customer know you aren’t ready to open yet. Or at the absolute very least, don’t post the hours on the speaker if they mean nothing.
After spending $42 and after reading back the order they still get it wrong.Never again.

Girl and old woman that takes orders are terrible at their job. I suggest going to A&W on Southfield rd. Off of fort st. Much better service tho no drive thru.
I left a blank two start review, and i hot a replay from the owner on how my experience could have been better. I can't reply to that comment so i will post it here. I wanted a large ice water with my meal and was willing to pay full soda prices for it because that is what i wanted. I was told they were low on large cups and they would not use any cups for water regardless if i was paying full price not. After a small corgal dabate when i stated i was here first and paying full price for it, the manager couldn't even offer any alternative for me. Maybe it is my fault for softly suggesting the manger is crazy, but either way everybody was unhappy because i simply wanted a large ice water with my burger. It was a good burger by the way.
