hello, i do not recommend ordering from doordash on here. They do not read instructions & them did not give me what the meal came with. i asked for sweet & sour sauce yet they gave me gravy. & on top of that the receipt with the instructions was stapled to the bag. it said it came with chicken fried rice yet i got just fried rice. please don’t order from here.
The food was horrible. I mean not even edible. They don't say that they have new owners. My friend and I couldn't even eat the fried rice!! Find a new place to go because this is not it!!!
I grew up on Wing Hong, so I’m pretty immune to their food. However I ordered abt $40 worth of food before closing time a few days ago. Big mistake!Quality definitely wasn’t what I’m used to.Wing Hong is worth checking out, just don’t go before closing time =)
I paid $26 for some chicken and shrimp fried rice(pint), an egg roll(1), and some fried chicken! I used to brag about this place. I don't mind paying more money but to sacrifice quality is a NO for me. The fried chicken used to be fried in house and very crispy. Now, it's coney type and salty as f!!!! I'll pass from now on?
My daughter and I were only in town for the night and chose Wing Hong for our dinner. When we went in there was no one to seat us and had to ask if we were to seat ourselves. We only saw one waitress who was waiting on other tables. She finally made it to us and apologized, stating that they did not have a "proper" waitress. She was very friendly. We both ordered the combo sweet and sour chicken. The portions were huge. The only "complaint" on the food was it was drowning in the sweet and sour sauce. Will return if we come back to the area.
New management sadly does not live up to the previous quality. They forgot the sauce for my sweet and sour pork, had to make a return trip to get it. When i got home and went to eat it, was so severely overcooked as to be inedible. Couldn't even spear it with a fork. Hot and sour soup was passable. Egg rolls half full of contents. Very disappointing, l'll have to find a new chinese restaurant.
Ordered 8 shrimp egg rolls even repeated to confirmed before placing order only to get home to find no shrimp. Called to let them know of error and was told they don’t have shrimp egg rolls, and they add chicken instead.Their menu lists shrimp and chicken egg rolls and of course they changed $2 which is cost shrimp egg rolls, chicken egg rolls cost 50 cent less.Lastly; I informed her that the chicken egg rolls didn’t even have any chicken, she said the chicken is grounded. After fork tearing open 3 or 4 of the egg rolls I finally spotted a piece of chicken about the size of a grain of rice. It was intended deception, beware.
Wish I had known about change in ownership. Buddy said this was the best Chinese restaurant in metro Detroit. We were massively disappointed. Quality was missing. Meh is a bar they hope to achieve.
Last time we bought food here they have me Sweet & Sour Chicken but forgot the sauce. Have them another they ... But they forgot it again. Those time I asked point blank if the sauce was in the package. (It was not)Called in order and told it would be 15 minutes. Upon arriving, 10-15 minutes later, there was no one at the front counter. It was another 10-15 minutes before the food was ready.
This used be my favorite and only Chinese food place in the area! I’m so upset about the change in management, the food is not as good it’s okay but it’s not the Wing Hong we know and love and the prices have gone up significantly! Overall I’m very sad this happened because there were no Chinese food places like Wing Hong
