This is my first time ordering today and it was totally dry meat and unable to chew. No moist beef. Unbelievable. Wasted my money $17.00
The Grand Blanc Michigan Location crashed quickly. What a horrible owner. Very slow food prep. I was going to blame it on Door Dash but Freakin Awesome Burgers gets their delivery out in a timely manner. I asked a Door Dash Driver why she was so late and she said it was last time she will pick up from that Leftys. I asked another driver about Leftys and he said he won't pick up from there anymore. I went there to try ordering myself and the place was gone lock stock and barrel. Windows papered over.
What is it with all these sandwich places, these days? Mayo is "bread spread". It's job is to create a lipid layer (i e. fat) to protect the bread from getting soggy from the meat! Ever time, I ask for "a little mayo, spread on the bread, first please". I'm lucky if they squeeze a stripe or two on the bottom before adding the meat. Worst case, they stripe the meat with the mayo on top! Mayo is NOT a sauce to flavor the meat. Would give them 5 stars if they did not screw this simple request up, Every, Single, Time!
Went to Lefty's cuz it was late and out the way...ordered a Philly cheese steak w/ bacon and $5 upcharge for a combo...estimating bout $15.......My order came $21.50 cuz ordered bacon,banana peppers, bar b que sauce and Mayonnaise,.....how do you charge for Mayo??? Told them forget the combo....sandwich alone end up bein $15....Steak was falling off the sub...not cuz it was alot but because it wasnt put together and the bacon look like they threw it from the package out da fridge to my Sub....it was so raw I couldnt finish eating it.
Great experience today at leftys .....the food was great and the service was better, I don't remember there names but the 3 young employees they have working (7/19/2022) are great they never stop moving the floor is clean the tables are clean and the food is sent out quickly.....mangers should be happy they can leave the store in there hands .....excellent experience and will be coming back
We ordered corned beef, wasn't expecting much, but it was very good. Got curly fries and they were also very good. It came with a good slice of new pickle. Prompt delivery via DoorDash.
I pre-ordered this sandwich about 1040 for 1245 because I only get 30 min lunch. I get there, it's not done. The lady asked the cook to make it and if I could take a picture and post it I would. The meat is just thrown in the bun and mostly on one side, toppings just thrown on, and I ordered a large. Their large is 10.5 inches. I will NEVER go to that location AGAIN. I will pre-order the night before from the location that is by me and bring it to work and heat it up at work. At least they make their stuff with pride instead of just thrown together and full 12 inch sub. If I could, I would not even leave 1 star
LOVE how you mess up our order tonight. My husband called to see about getting it straightened out and was told to come back sometime this week instead of fixing it tonight, now I get to go with out a meal tonight. Your employee could have had been customer service then to have an attitude about something that as entirely your employees fault.
So I haven't tried all of their sandwiches, I just got the basics. But let's just say this is Big John steak and onion without the big sub bun that Big John's has and a smaller size. It's pretty good. But all it really does is make me miss Big John's.
