DON'T GO TO THE FRESH FISH HOUSE SOUTHFIELD LOCATION, YOU MAY SPEND YOUR NIGHT IN THE BATHROOM!7/15/22, ~5pm– Ordered 1lb Jumbo Shrimp dinner (fries, cole slaw) and a lemon cake ~$36 w/tip. Had a few fries on the drive home, noticed they were overcooked, almost burned. No big deal, I guess. At home I opened the container and the shrimp looked totally different! 1) Like they were cut open butterfly style and 2) like they have been fried then re-fried to heat them back up. They were very brown and crunchy! I ate some then decided to call the store to express my concerns. Manager responded in a short irritated manner. I questioned why were they cut to be flat. She stated, they butterfly the shrimp for cleaning. And they don’t reheat the shrimp. No offer to bring the dinner back. I've gotten the Jumbo Shrimp from fresh fish house more times than I can count and I've never seen them look like this. At first, I was very disappointed that I spent almost 40 bucks on a dinner that did not rise to the standards I’ve grown accustomed to from the fresh fish house. Then, hours later I became down right angry because I became very sick and basically had to spend the night in the bathroom. It is 16 hours later and I'm still going to the bathroom. If I ever go back to fresh fish house, it absolutely will not be this location.
The food was terrible! The fish seemed to be cooked in old grease. The fries were hard as bricks! I did not have time to take the food back! I'm very, very disappointed.
I stood at least 15 minutes before being acknowledged waiting to purchase fresh fish along the the dinner that I had ordered which was horrible the fish was hard and the fries were dried out
The Orange Roughy was seasoned well and everything was nice and hot. The dinner was $18.99 and the bowl of Gumbo was $8.99. One Con was there wasn't enough seafood in the gumbo. Not worth the price.
Called at 7pm nobody answered the phone. I go up there 7:30pm and guess what? The workers are in there with the door locked CLOSED!!
purchase some fish to make dinner the fish was fresh and clean not frozen the place was very clean also and the young lady that helped me was very pleasant

Always a good choice! The staff is very down to earth! Although they're pretty busy, they keep their cool and handle the crowd with ease. The Food speaks for itself...seasoned just right! SEASONED!
This place was a negative for me. The so called female manager was so rude. She hollered and hung up on me after stating she was not going to argue with me that my onion rings and jumbo shrimps were missing from my telephone order.
