Use to love this place but today will be my last visit. Online but crew on duty could've find it - that was after I waited because the lady looking at my didn't have the 'thing' whatever that was.
Service was slow.....very slow. After being told it would be 10 - 15 minutes it turned out to be 25 - 30 minutes. Otherwise, everything else was great.
My favorite thing USED to be the mushrooms...everything changed today when they served me absolutely the worst mushrooms ever! As you can see from the picture, these are not coated, cooked, or prepared anywhere near edible. The sign says to make sure you have all your stuff before you leave, which I did...but I did not think that meant to make sure my items were actually cooked! If that was not enough, the ribs were a bit overcooked. The chicken was okay, but one piece was cooked without coating or skin. The cole slaw was a bit bland this time. The broasted potatoes is the only thing that really came out as expected. If this is how it's gonna be after all the fuss about opening up through the pandemic, I would have to say I need to spend my hard-earned money with an establishment that cares about the customer.
Talk about poor customer service from the employee who took my order to the supervisor who was even worse, smdh! The supervisor on day shift today 2/10/22 need a refresher in customer resolution. Ticket#33 order#160764 received the wrong order when the request was for a 4 pic wing and received 2 wings a thigh and leg. I don't even eat dark meat. The cost of food is too expensive for this type of poor customer service, smh!
Always love Chicken Shack, always love the food. Did not appreciate the customer service I got on the phone with the Southfield location. Whoever answered the phone, he was short and dismissive. He was trying to get me off the phone ASAP and told me just go online to get my questions answered and place my order. Before I could thank the person for their time he abruptly hung up on me. It was extremely rude.
I love Chicken Shack's broasted chicken. I grew up on it. Now that I'm living in Lansing, anytime I'm in the Detroit area I go to the closest CS. Unfortunately I was very disappointed this time. They ran out of chicken, and did not put the seasoned butter on our broasted potatoes.
Chicken was crispy, light and delicious. Breading wasn't heavy or greasy at all. Got roasted potatoes on the side, also yummy but really buttery!
That chicken is to die for. I love chicken shack, that fried crispy chicken and buttery broasted potatoes is so good. This location is alright. It’s better to order online, you’ll get your food a lot faster. If you walk-in it will take close to 30 minutes before your order is up. All in all I enjoyed my visit here. I will continue to support whenever I have that craving for fried chicken. I recommend.
Where should I start customs services was good but the chicken was half cooked the Cole slaw was not chopped up I had big leaf size in my Cole slaw male sure you check your order everything wasn't in the bag good thing I check my bag. All and all the food wasn't good.
Expensive and the gave me the smallest wing dings I ever saw. So not worth the money.
