I got delivery via DoorDash and the bag was well packed (no spills, all sauces and chopsticks provided). The food itself was delicious. The sushi tasted very fresh and the miso was still very hot when my food arrived. The three roll lunch special is also an excellent deal! I would love to dine in next time!

I stopped going to my local sushi place in favor of this because the prices are lower, and the nigiri is always fresh tasting. The hot tea is so refreshing.

TL;DR:You must try Volcano Sushi! I wish I would have tried this place years ago!I also wish I had taken photos! Hands down best sushi in Macomb County, and I have been to all the other sushi places in Macomb. Low key, intimate place that has been quietly sitting in the same location for many years. Unassuming in it's tucked away location sleeps a sushi must for Metro Detroit.Not only was their Sushi to die for, their house dressing for salads was unlike most other Japanese restaurants, unique and leaving me wanting to come back before the rolls were even being wrapped on their bamboo mats.The dessert options were fantastic as well. The Tempura Green Tea Ice-cream was unreal. By far one of my favorite desserts ever, and a large portion to boot. My wife got the Tempura Cheesecake, almost equally delicious, but, I am particularly partial to my own homemade Cheesecake. If only I could Tempura my Cheesecake!I so so so... wish I would have tried this place many years ago!TL;DR:You must try Volcano Sushi!
Volcano sushi is always our favorite! Everything is always yummy. We try a new roll every time. The yakisoba is also always delicious. We come here once a month or more. All the staff are very friendly.
