I love the sushi here. It’s my favorite!

The sushi is just not the same anymore. Boring and bland, kind of like buying it at Kroger. Menu items may have the same name but it is definitely a different recipe. Not nearly as delicious as it used to be. I found out they changed owners about a year ago. My family and I are sad.

To me this is the best sushi place in the area. The ingredients is fresh, and the stuff r always friendly. The see through kitchen and sushi bar really make me feel that the food is really clean, which is a bonus point to me.

Ordered a bunch of sushi for take out and their sushi is honestly very similar to grocery store sushi. Chunks of imitation crab and spicy tuna with no spice to it. If you want good sushi in the area a better bet is ichiban or even burger Finn is amazing IMO

The size of the tempura rolls are way too huge to put in your mouth and the flavor wasn’t very strong, but okay. The problem is that nothing seems to live up to our favorite sushi place back at our old house, because once you actually have super fresh amazing tasting sushi, places like this really don’t satisfy or taste fresh, they just taste like the same ingredients other sub-par sushi places get.

This place is a local gem. They use high quality ingredients, the rolls are generously sized, and their miso is fantastic! I've been eating there for years with my daughter and it's always on point. The service is wonderful as well.

Did the ownership change in the past couple of months? The last time we went in December all was great. A visit last night and everything was off and no one we knew was working. We have been going there for the past 10+ years so we know the normal great food we would have been getting isnt the same now. Simple example was they still had the skin on the cucumber for our sushi rolls, never has that happened before.

Expensive for what you getI chose this sushi spot to meet up with a friend in the area because it had high reviews. The atmosphere is nice and gives off some tiki bar bar vibes. Staff is friendly and attentive.Another plus is the vast menu- a variety of desserts, hibachi entrees and appetizers are available here.My biggest issue was the quality of food and the price. We ended up paying around $20 a person for 1 1/2 rolls each. I got a veggie tempura roll and it wasn’t anything too special, sushi was kind of bland. I have paid a lot less and tried more flavorful rolls so I don’t think I would want to come here again for that reason.

If you have a nut allergy, beware!!! My fiancé and I went her for dinner and after ordering and mentioning that one of us had an allergy, the waiter proceeded to say that she couldn’t check if any of the sauces had nuts. She then proceed to ask if we still wanted to order and said that it was not a good idea to order because she did not know if anything has nuts and didn’t want to check/ask.We even asked if the specific rolls we wanted had nuts and she said that she didn’t know nor did she make an effort to ask. She insisted on it not be a good idea that we order food from there.

Best sushi around. I live an hour and a half away from decent Sushi and I had to splurge and ordered 6 rolls. Never fails. Always amazing.
