Oh my God. This place sucked. I went there today for my 26th wedding Anniversary July 5th 2022. Started off with their signature bread with garlic sauce. The bread was hard as a brick. Then my mother in law and myself ordered a baked potato with our entree. Get this. NO BUTTER. I never heard of this in my life. The restaurant was not busy at all but took the waitress 5 minutes to come to our table to let us know that they had sour cream but no butter. Worst wedding Anniversary ever. I never tried the ribs cause I was waiting for my butter. I told them I am not paying for it and left. What a joke. I will never go back there.
Had a 70th surprise party there.The management and his team of waitresses were awesome.The service was impeccable. I would recommend Shelby Firehouse Tavern to anybody holding any functions. They go out of the way to make the moment one to remember.If to make one comment that the roast beef was very salty. But that wasn't enough to complain about. Firehouse in Shelby Township really took excellent care of us tonight, we want to thank the manager Greg and all the staff, our niece had a seizure during dinner and 911 had to be called, they handled everything with the utmost compassion, they were so kind and understanding, thank you so much! Pizza okay, used to be better.Less cheese, pizza smaller, more expensive.Salad bar okay. Small selection of toppings for saladNothing outstanding for this restaurant/tavern.Waiter attentive but took a long time for order to come.New ownerNot like it used to be. Doesn't maintain standards of previous owner for Pizza/Salad bar.Used to be comparable to Buddy's Pizza
Had great fast service. Great place to go in and watch sports or have a sit down dinner with great service.Our server was top knotch.
Food was good even though several things on the menu they didn't have. Water staff was very nice and done a terrific job for our group of 15.
Always seen to enjoyed this placed but last week was the worst. No steaks of any kind. No chicken winged with bones. No fruit for drinks. No water for our guest to drink. Bloody mary was nasty. Hair in appetizers which was going to be the meal. It took a while to get waited on and to check on us and to collect the bill. C a ll and complained. Someone will call back no did. Was told a week later may next it will be better.. Like if.
Overall, fantastic experience and the food is really good!We shared a slab of ribs and a 10oz steak.The steak was cooked perfectly and had a great taste. Granted, it's not Texas Roadhouse (my personal favorite), but it is close enough for me to return for another. Definitely better than I expected by far thoughThe ribs literally fell off the bone which is always what I like. The barbecue sauce is good, however, I do prefer sweet baby Rays. However, they were still really good and we both enjoyed them greatly.I also had the French onion soup which was superior all around! Definitely a must have again!The only flaw is the Dr. Pepper. It's not really DR. Pepper, so it leaves a bit to be desired. However, that's not enough of a flaw to tarnish their rating, so it is what it is and I thought it was worth mentioning in case it is someone else's preference if choice.All in all though, I will be returning to try something else.As for the building itself, there is a large bar area in the front with plenty of tables just behind it. There is also a whole area with more tables just behind the general dining area that was currently being used for a party, so there is a lot of room. And, with the rear doors closed to the extra area, the sound is easily controlled.I definitely recommend the Firehouse Tavern.
I've been here a few times and while the food hasn't ever been bad... it's not very good. Nothing is very flavorful. I've tried salads, burgers, broasted chicken and even their bread. The staff and service is nice but I wouldn't really go here unless I was super hungry
My wife and i were going there about once a week. They have a rib special for two. Comes with salad and french frys. I would say to The waitress that my wife cannot eat salad it makes her sick. Can she have a cup of soup in place of The salad. Which some of The waitress would do. The last time we were in there The waitress gets this attude.she says you can talk to my manager. This young girl comes over and says she The manager. I told her whats was going on, and she had a even worse arttude and was so rude my wife said i dont want to eat here ever again. Good food but The people that work there are not very nice..
