Picked up a pizza after we were told it would take 45 minutes. When we got home, a mile away, the pizza was old and cold. The cheese was dried and hard. It appears that the pizza set for about half an hour before we picked it up. It was either made early, one someone failed to pick up, or ours was given to another customer who did not want the old one. This on top of the fact that the location makes it difficult to get to unless you live to the east of it.
We moved to Shelby 2 years ago, excited to be by a sorrentos because I grew up by the one in Mt Clemens. The first time we tried this location we were very disappointed. Pizza was undercooked, and seemed like it was sitting under a warmer for quite some time before we picked up. Last night (2 years after the first order) we got pasta and breadsticks. The pasta was very noticeably reheated and old. Containers were only 1/4 of the way filled. Breadsticks were so soaked with butter they were inedible. Pasta had little to no sauce on it. We will no longer order from this location. Very disappointed.
It's close to my house. Easy to go in and pick your pizza. They usually have dine in area for customers. But that's closed right now.I got my large pizza and chicken wings and paid. The the delivery guy said I could switch it out to a better deal. I hadn't even noticed.My son had two slices of pizza this morning for breakfast.This pizza just has something different about the taste.

Ordered a large pizza with ham. 17.00 and the pieces were bite size. Never again would I ordered from here! Always stick to what you know. Carlos Pizza on Hayes is the best!
Pizza was way too thick, sauce seemed like it was from a can. Just not good. Kinda destroying the Sorrentos name.
We often get delivery and pickup from this location and whenever we order we always get a custom pizza for a picky eater in our household. A small round with cheese, pepperoni, and no sauce. Sometimes this one pizza gets messed up but they always make it right. They care about the customers of the local community and it shows.As for the actual products, the pizza is always baked to perfection. The wings are crispy outside, juicy inside. But my favorite is probably the cheesy bread. Deep dish style, plenty of cheese, and super flavorful.
This is one of the best if not the best Sorrento's. The Pizza itself is better than surrounding locations and they offered me a coupon! They also have free flavored crust!!!!
I’ve been coming here for years and am never disappointed. The owner, Anthony is super nice as well as the staff and always greets you with a smile. The food is absolutely amazing and I’d highly recommend this place to anyone. It’s affordable and the restaurant is very clean. Love this place!
