I came here in the past and didn't like very much. Today (after years) I wanted to give it a try again and I was amazed about all the changes. The place is fully renovated, staff is friendly and quick, delicious food at very good price and large size plates. It's became one of favorite places now. Keep the good work!
Everything in this awesome place are perfectBUT Ms. Faye She is most hospitality person ever you will meet.Food are very deliciousPlace more than comfortableSure I will be back very soonThanks Faye
Worst place ever. My family and I went to Sahara and we did not have a good experience there. First of all, the bread was not cooked freshly. Flour was still on the bread and it wasn’t hot. Next, the tabbouleh did not have any olives on it so I asked for extra olives. When we got the olives, we noticed that the olives had parsley on them. We suspected that they took the olives off the tabbouleh and put them on a separate plate and charged us an extra $4. Something else that makes Sahara the worst restaurant to go to is the soup was cold. We ordered soup and when we tried it, the soup was cold, not warm, or hot. Also, we ordered a combo tray that comes with fries on the side if you’d like. When we got our bill, we saw that they charged us extra for the fries, even though it came with the combo tray. When we asked the waitress why they charged us extra, she said it was because the fries were expensive. Lastly, our waitress had an attitude. She’d get angry with us when we made a complain about all these things. She also told another employee to give us the same bread, instead of a new one. Do not come to this Sahara, you will have the worst experience there. Don’t come to this place unless you want to waste your money.
The most flabbergasting trading platform ever, quick withdrawal and am so overwhelmed with the outcome. I have been using this platform together with the most recommended Forex strategy on the internet Mr. Jackson Robert and so far I have no complaints making over $7,000 - $15,000 on a weekly basis, which I started with a capital of $1,000. Thank you Jackson for your tremendous help in my account, without your diligence, hard work, late nights, and early mornings I wouldn’t have been able to earn in the market. Excellent work! I grew up on Sahara a long time ago and they lost their touch… The food is inconsistent in terms of flavor and I’ve gotten very dry meat/shawarma several times. Considering that they are overpriced compared to all the Chaldean American restaurants in Sterling Heights, and I understand it’s a premium location on Hall Rd but an expectation of better consistency and care with what’s being served is not an unfair ask. I’ve complained once in five years and the manager wasn’t very responsive and rude. Their menu options are excellent tho!
March 2022 - ordered take out from them. It was a combo for 4. Rice and meat was good. Great place to get dinner, I would recommend them. Nice place to take the family or for a date.
I have eaten here quite a few times and the food is always good, always. The soup and bread is especially my favorite, I could eat it every day. However, there is another reason for my review. Kindness is in short supply these days and the manager/owner (not sure which he is tbh) showed me some on a day I needed it most. My husband called in a very small order for me to pick up and the gentleman at the register was so kind and generous even with my teeny tiny order I was blown away. Mind you it was a busy Friday night and he could have brushed me along without a second thought but he was very gracious and I was very grateful. This is the type of place and people I want to give my business and money to. You can tell they care about their patrons. And again, can’t say enough about the bread and soup, my lord it’s delish.
First time at this restaurant. At first glance it is freshly decorated in colors that are right inline with any HGTV renovated house. That's not a bad thing, just an observation. We were very comfortable with the setting. They have a good selection of wines and other drinks. The waiter was extremely friendly and very attentive without being pushy at all. The menu has a nice selection of Mediterranean foods and the portions were immense. To give perspective, I ate a very large amount of my dinner. I took the rest home, and when I had the remainder, it was too much to finish. The crushed lentil soup was way too good, I wish I had the recipe. The beef and chicken shawarma were both really good. All of us enjoyed our meals. Understand that this is not a regular priced restaurant, it is at the next level. However, if you take into account what I said above, each meal for me was $10.50, and that's average nowadays. If you go remember to try the fresh bread, you won't be sorry.
To start this is only getting a three star review because of the service here. Food is amazing I will still keep going. But I had ordered a carry out which I do normally and I always only order the lemon oregano chicken kabobs as they are the best! I pick up my order and get home and it’s the chicken cream chop instead. No biggie I work in the service industry I get mistakes happen things might sounds one way over the phone than in person. So I called back to inform that I had been given the wrong order from what I ordered and the guys first instinct was to place blame on me stating he was the one to take my order and he said You said chicken cream chop, wasn’t very nice about this and I asked him well does the chicken cream chop one your menu come with lemon oregano sauce because the kabobs is the only thing that specific sauces comes with. He then proceeded to tell me he didn’t want to argue with me and said he would remake my order and to bring back the incorrect one. This is really unfortunate the way this was handled as I wasn’t looking to place blame just simply wanted what I ordered. It’s very unprofessional to address customers this way. Put a bad taste in my mouth which is unfortunate because the food is always spot on. Need to work on your customer service talk because I’m really in awe that I was spoken to like that right from the beginning of my conversation.
This is our regular go to place but lately it hasn’t been the same for quality. Recently we had out of town guests and we came to dine in. We ordered a family share platter but when we received it, it was missing one of our meats. We also had a substitution in one of our meat choices and that was missing. Someone from the kitchen FINALLY brought it out (still missing one of our choices) and her response to the long wait was, “a shrug and said oh well you can take it home and walked away” she didn’t even apologize for the mistake or long wait. Completely missing the point of coming in and dinning there. I understand the short staffing issue as it’s happening everywhere but how do you order a family style platter and have that happen and still not correct the issue. So disappointing. Covid has really affected the food quality but mostly the service. When we were there, there was only one other table and a guest at the bar so it wasn’t busy. Sad to say we won’t be back anytime soon ?
