Went for a wedding shower. The staff was REALLY GREAT! Especially the nice girl with pokemon earings. The portions were a little small and the salad was not very good. But the main course tasted fine. Nothing to write home about. Bread was good tho! Also to get to the room for the event we had to walk through a room with a different event? So just walking through the middle of someone else's baby shower? Building was pretty though. Overall, meh.
My wife and I entered this restaurant and were told by a man presumed to be the owner that they would not serve us. The most nasty and insulting person we have ever encountered in a restaurant. Piccirilli's obviously has a problem with certain races, ethnicities or something. In today's world where these types of bigotries should be not existent, we hope others find this type of behavior repulsive as well and refuse to patronize this establishment.
Had an absolutely awful experience with the male server there. He was clearly angry, spilt wine on my wife’s outfit, didn’t apologize and huffed and puffed when we asked him for something to help clean it up with. After he finally returned with some extra napkins he then proceeded to take his anger out on my four year old who wanted to order the spaghetti and meatballs.I highly considered just leaving and sticking the bill to him, but I wasn’t sure if he had my license plate on camera. So I settled with just not tipping him.My advice to management, get rid of terrible servers and bring in friendly people. My family and I will never be back and we will avoid this place like the plague.
Great place for an intimate dinner, or gathering with many. The food is outstanding, with a nice presentation. The wait staff us very attentive.
We went as a group of 5 and the scenery was beautiful, the food was brought out at the perfect time, and the food tasted as good as the hospitality… spectacular. I recommend the Chicken Parmesan. Can’t wait to go back!
Great family run restaurant with outstanding food and service. Highly recommend the Rollata. The recipe is from Umberto (the owner) sister in Italy. It's similar to cannelloni but more delicate and lighter. The pasta to filling ration is perfection!!!
We had my Dad’s funeral luncheon at Piccarilli’s on Jan 3. The owner Umberto opened the restaurant on a Monday especially for our celebration of life. The service, food & wine were wonderful. This is our favorite Italian restaurant. You will not be disappointed.
Food was good. We were charged Each a $3.00 fee for splitting the bill. We had asked the waitress if we could split the bill when we placed the order. She said she would see if she could do that. At that time she made No mention of being charged each $ 3 extra. When she came with our bills after we ate we saw the charges. When we asked her she said, Yea it's posted at the hostess desk. We did not see it when we came in and she should have had the courtesy to say that to us up front. Very shady.
We love Piccirrilli’s! We live over 50 miles away, yet make the trip for special occasion events and wished we lived closer to go more often. The food is excellent, homemade and the service is something you can’t find anywhere. We love it here!
We had carryout, and it was excellent. Not your cheap Italian eatery, so expect some great tastes and expect to pay a little bit more for it.
