We have ordered from this Panera multiple times hoping for better results each time. However, last night it was horrible. Service when you are in the store is always great but delivery is horrible. Three times in a row now they have forgotten parts of our order. When we called to inform them they said they could not get it out to us and suggested we either come pick it up or they would refund the money...well there is reasons we were ordering delivery as we were not able to come get it and my husband was now out of his dinner. The grilled cheese my daughter ordered was not grilled at all it was a sandwich with some butter and some cheese in the middle. To say this is frustrating is an understatement.I would recommend this location for in person dining but definitely not for delivery as you get horrible service.
Drive thru, 6 cars ahead, 20 minutes get to window. Takes order, 2 sandwiches, 2 soup. Window speaker goes to uncontrollable laughing, 15 seconds worth. Window speaker comes back, " is that all you want"? Another 5 minutes to pick up window, " have you paid"? Get home, 1 soup is missing. Guess this is what they want $15 an hour for. But it definitely won't be my money again. Worst customer service and behavior I have EVER had in my 67 years.
Went through the drive through around 9:20 pm. No one else in line the entire time so it’s not like they were super busy and there were plenty of employees inside working. The guy who took our order was very unpleasant. We somehow got charged for an extra sandwich we didn’t order and he never repeated my order or told me the amount. Just said to pull up. Then someone else takes my card and never tells me the amount. I would have noticed if someone had told me how much I was paying. Then I get home and find that I’m missing 2 bags of chips and 2 baguettes. My sandwich was made completely wrong and the mysterious extra sandwich is literally bread and chicken and nothing else. By the time I got home, there wasn’t time to drive back before closing so I called them. It rang and rang before it finally hung up or disconnected TWICE. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Save yourself the frustration and just go somewhere else.
I usually love Panera. But todays visit was a disappointment. I checked in for curbside pick up at 4:20, waited until 4:36, still had not gotten it. Went inside, was not busy, all workers were chatting and seemed bothered when i asked for my curbside order. No apology or anything. Came home and found out they put mayo on my sandwich even though i had specific instructions not to. Very disappointed and will go to the other location instead.
I visited the 14121 Hall Road, Shelby Township MI 48315 location on 2/21/2022. The employee, Traci was extremely rude from the minute I pulled up to the drive thru. Her tone of voice sounded irritated from the beginning of me placing an order. I asked a couple questions and she acted like I was bugging her. I added more to my order and she replied "Holy cow, this is a big order." I was ordering food for 4 people. I asked a question about whether a specific sandwich was available in the You Pick Two. She answered my question then continued to say, " Do you want it or not?" I did walk into the restaurant and informed the manager about how rude she was. All the employees at this location were friendly except Traci.
The staff here have an attitude every time I come here. If you hate your job find something better. They are always out of alot.of things and you have to wait a long time to get your food. Don't get me started on the lady at the front she is slow as hell
I love Panera Bread so much and always recommend them, but this location always mess up my order. One time I had an online order for curbside pick up, I waited 20 min and no one came, that’s fine they might be busy I thought. Drove to the drive throu window and told the lady about my order and gave her my order number and she was like oh yeh I see it but for some reason no one got it ready for u even though it said ready on my app!Next time I place an order of the turkey avocado BLT sandwich come to pick it up, there is no avocado in the sandwich or the pickle that they put on the side. Went inside again and the guy said sorry mam we are out of avocado. Well, it didn’t say that on the app and I paid extra for avocado!!I still love Panera and will still visit them but this location is honestly not the best. The employees r nice but they r just careless I feel.
They screw-up my order 100% of the time--even before Covid--which tells me it's mismanaged no matter who they hire. I tried for years, but now I totally avoid this location even though they're across the street from me--always a stressful pain to go there. I wish Panera would take back their licensing from this location.
Have started to frequent this Panera between classes once or twice a week and find it is a great place to study and grab a light lunch! Staff have been nothing but friendly and helpful, and I really appreciate how frequently they do cafe checks and how clean the cafe is.
Food was fine but staff is a little inconsiderate/unprofessional. They placed these containers above us while we were sitting down eating. Made us very uncomfortable. Definitely not the place for those when there are customers inside.
